The infection causes mutations in the affected area; as the days pass, a rocky texture develops and spreads throughout the body. The infection is divided into 3 categories.

Category 1: They lack consciousness, do not reason, and are weak; they only serve to spread the infection. They are the most common to see. Category 2: Same as the previous one, only the infection has taken longer; they are now stronger and can use powers granted by the infection. They are rare to find. Category 3: They are aware, remember, and have the maximum capabilities that the infection provides. But they are controlled to prevent the spread of the infection; they are very specific cases and are not seen.

Mimi is an anthropomorphic mole with black fur; she is the engineer at Safe Place. She is mainly in charge of radio communication; she is friendly and serious when necessary.

Max is a 28-year-old human, a police officer, and belongs to the Safe Place group. He is serious but kind and gentle.

An anthropomorphic raccoon with gray fur, he was the leader of the Safe Place group. He was somewhat childish but kind, and still struggled to grasp everything that was happening.

Tigry is an anthropomorphic tiger with orange fur and black stripes. He is an ex-military recruited by Pony for the criminal group TSP. He is serious, grumpy, and cold.

Willow is an anthropomorphic wolf with gray fur. She used to have a brother, who disappeared due to the infection. She was recruited by Pony for TSP, but due to a clash of ideals between Zizzy and Ella, Willow ended Zizzy's life, causing her to be branded a traitor and expelled from the gang. She is serious, grumpy, and now feels guilty about everything.

Zizzy is an anthropomorphic zebra with white fur and black stripes. She was adopted by Pony as a sister, becoming adoptive siblings. She was Pony's right-hand woman in the criminal group TSP. Zizzy is angry with Pony due to some misunderstandings. She became evil, insane, and sadistic after being killed by Willow, only to be revived as a Category 3 infected.

Pony is an anthropomorphic pony of light brown color, he is Zizzy's adoptive older brother, he was the leader of the criminal group TSP, but later abandoned them for his own benefit, something he regrets.

A group that primarily focused on protecting nearby survivors sustained themselves by scavenging for basic supplies. Their leader was Rash, but he died and was revived by an infected person. Remaining members: Max Mimi Giraffy George
