Inherited Technique: Projection Sorcery ( , Tōsha Juhō ?)simとう射しゃ呪じゅ法ほう : Naoya inherited his father's innate technique, allowing him to transform one second into 24 frames and trace a predetermined set of movements using his field of vision as the viewing angle. While the technique is active, anything touched by Naoya's palm must obey the technique's 24 FPS rule or it will be frozen for one second within an animated frame. [ 42 ] [ 43 ]

While working alongside Yuta to kill Yuji, Naoya accurately predicted that Choso would try to block their path. As soon as Yuji began to flee, Naoya prevented Choso from blocking Yuta and engaged him in hand-to-hand combat. Naoya saw Choso use Blood Manipulation before the fight and knew that his best strategy was to neutralize Piercing Blood from the start. [39]

Even while adhering to the 24 FPS rule of Projection Sorcery, Naoya takes into account the possibility of his opponent counterattacking. When Choso adapted to Naoya's speed using Fluid Red Scale: Pile, Naoya quickly realized he was able to avoid Choso's counteroffensive by accurately predicting his movements. He executed it masterfully, striking his opponents with powerful blows before disappearing and then striking them again before they could react. Naoya demonstrated elite-level hand-to-hand combat skills, primarily delivering different types of punches, such as karate chops, backhand punches, elbow strikes, uppercuts, or similar combinations in rapid succession. His defensive discipline was also refined, allowing him to anticipate his opponents' attacks and parry them with precision.

Amplified by the speed of his cursed technique, a single blow from Naoya to the body hurled Choso against a stone pillar with enough force to crack it. [37] Naoya prided himself on defeating his opponents unarmed and relied on reinforcing his physical attacks with jujutsu.

Overall Skill Level: Naoya was a Grade 1 special sorcerer and head of the Hei, the most powerful sorcerer collective in the Zenin clan. He was considered one of the greatest talents within one of the Three Great Families, with strength comparable to that of his father. Naoya considers other strong sorcerers in the clan, such as Ogi and Jinichi, weak in comparison to himself.

Naoya employed the cursed technique he inherited from Naobito with exceptional mastery. It granted him incredible speed, which Naoya took pride in. Upon discovering that Megumi had usurped him as clan chief, Naoya did not hesitate to plot a way to kill him. Naoya knew very well that his clanmates might prefer Megumi to him, but he didn't care in the slightest about their approval. From a young age, Naoya was always praised and considered a genius. He was extremely spoiled for being the youngest and most promising of Naobito's sons.
