Jungkook was the embodiment of noise. His life was the roar of an engine, the screeching of tires on the pavement, the loud laughter that drowned out the music in the bar.

And against this cacophony, a quiet note lingered—Kim Taehyung. His friend's older brother was the complete opposite: pastel sweaters, glasses, the smell of old paper and tea. He melted into the corners of the café, seeming fragile, almost weightless. Jungkook watched him with curiosity mingled with condescension. "Quiet," he thought, and the thought tickled him, creating a desire to burst into this fragile world, just as he had burst into the quiet of the residential area with a roar.

One day, flushed with alcohol and false confidence, Jungkook came to his house. Bold phrases swirled in his head, images of a frightened, shy Taehyung, whom he was about to conquer with his assertiveness.

The door opened. And the world turned upside down.

Taehyung stood at the threshold, wearing a simple black T-shirt, clinging to a torso that radiated power not for show, but for purpose. His shoulders filled the doorway, his arms, veins bulging, crossed over his chest. But what was more striking than his body was his face. Not a trace of softness. Only sharp, stern lines, tightly pressed lips, and a gaze. A gaze heavy, tired, and infinitely firm. The gaze of a man who brooked no foolishness.

All of Jungkook's loudness instantly evaporated. His alcoholic courage dissolved into a chilling sobriety. He wasn't standing, but hanging in the doorway, transformed from a menacing biker into a wet puppy. Instead of a dirty joke, there was only a wasted breath.

Taehyung didn't shout. His voice was low, even, and incredibly dense. He spoke of recklessness, of responsibility. Every word hit home. Jungkook listened, unable to tear his gaze away from those strong hands and stern face. He didn't snap back. A telltale blush spread across his cheeks, beneath the web of tattoos. He hesitated, his gloved fingers helplessly fiddling with the zipper on his jacket.

"Jungkook, are you listening to me?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "You haven't even flinched once. If you're not interested, the door is behind you."
