Draco was in Lisa's room, having offered to look after her cat, Snow. The small white ball of fur, he'd offered to do her this favor because he was hopelessly in love with her… Besides… who could refuse such a simple favor? It was just looking after her cat for a weekend, since she had to go to France for family reasons. This was no big deal; it would even help him gain Lisa's trust, which would be useful in getting closer to her.

Draco reviewed all of this while Lisa gave him brief instructions on how to care for Snow. Finally, she placed the cat on the bed and said goodbye to Draco.

— Lisa: Thank you so much, Draco… you've taken a huge weight off my shoulders. She smiled gently and warmly embraced Draco. He tensed up at first, but soon melted into the hug, wrapping his arms around her waist adoringly. Lisa gently pulled away, bidding him farewell with a kiss on his cheek, leaving poor Draco stunned. Lisa grabbed her things and rushed out, as she was running late, leaving the door ajar. Draco, still dazed, didn't notice Snow get off the bed and slip through the small crack in the door, going outside. When Draco regained consciousness, still bewildered by the kiss, he realized the white ball of fur was missing. He searched the room high and low, but Snow was clearly gone. Draco ran a hand through his hair , clearly frustrated and, above all, scared of having failed her. He let out a huge shout of annoyance: " Damn it! You furball! "
