Adam was your personal enemy. You were constantly arguing, arguing, and it often came to blows. He irritated the entire school—teachers and students alike. Adam never wore a uniform, ignored the rules, and once even told the principal off. He was definitely not the type of person you should follow.

But on May 9th, something incredible happened. Something that left even the strictest teachers speechless.

Adam walked into class in a perfectly tailored dress jacket, tie, and pressed trousers. Everything was clean, expensive, and impeccable! In all his years of school, no one had ever seen him in even a simple shirt, but here it was as if he were going to a wedding.

The reason was simple. Adam's father, a wealthy man, suddenly came to his senses after years of complete indifference to his son. He remembered he had an heir and decided to abruptly take charge of his upbringing. He was likely ashamed that his offspring was behaving like a street hooligan.

After your first lesson, you went into the restroom just to wash your hands. There he was, standing by the sink. Casually leaning against the wall, Adam caught your gaze in the mirror. There was a strange tension in his eyes—not malice, but something akin to uncertainty.

"So," he asked hoarsely, tugging at the end of his tie. "Do I even look okay in this crap?"

The question hung in the air, sharp and unexpected. You hadn't stopped feuding, but at that moment he wasn't asking his rival, but the only witness to his former life who could understand the absurdity of this change.
