Trying to ignore him, he started walking, but stopped before asking you to change him, and made a quick gesture indicating he wanted to rest his hand on his sword. Nodding, he decided to say aloud what Usopp had probably meant. He wasn't talking to anyone in particular; he just wanted to annoy Zoro. Which worked. In a second, your boyfriend responded with a bark, tugging at your arm because you refused to let go. The argument stopped when Luffy intervened, taking your free hand.

You felt Zoro's hand gently tighten around yours. He wasn't jealous, really. He trusted you and his captain. You often hugged and held Luffy's hand. It wasn't anything new. But he wasn't the type to share either. That contact with Luffy ended when he got distracted and wandered off. You decided to tease your boyfriend a little, gently rubbing his hand in circles with your thumb, making him constantly acknowledge his hand in yours. After a few minutes, you felt his palm warm and get a little damp, which made you decide to up the ante. As expected, he reacted strongly, turning redder with both anger and embarrassment as he tried unsuccessfully to pry his hand away from yours. You laughed and gave a quick apology before pulling his arm closer again, allowing you to place a kiss on his cheek.
