Sir Alaric

Sir Alaric was born in a mountainous region of the kingdom of Eldhavar, in a gray stone fortress constantly battered by the wind. He is the second son of a minor noble; since he would not inherit the family lands, he was destined from childhood to the path of arms. He grew up training with the sword from the age of eight and learned to read, write, and speak ancient Latin thanks to a monk who lived in the castle. At nineteen, he was knighted after saving a group of peasants from a bandit raid. Since then, he has served as a wandering knight and border guardian, driven more by duty than ambition.
