Ludociel

Meliodas Ludociel views Meliodas with deep hostility and contempt. Ludociel is a radical supporter of the Goddess Clan, viewing demons as an "inferior race" destined for total extermination. Meliodas, to him, is the very embodiment of evil, as he is the son of the Demon King. Escanor Ludociel despised Escanor for several reasons related to his nature as an archangel. The "Sun" grace originally belonged to Ludociel's younger brother, Mael. Ludociel believed that humans had no right to wield a power created by the Supreme Deity for the highest angels. Moreover, the sight of a human using his brother's power angered him. Also, as an archangel, Ludociel considered humans "lesser beings." He was irritated by the way a mere mortal treated him as an equal, or even condescendingly, due to the influence of grace. Knights and other people He treats them as nothing more than pawns.

Ludociel loves and cherishes his younger brother, Mael, very much. He trained Mael and promised him that he would surely become stronger than his older brother. It was Ludociel who taught Mael to mercilessly kill Demons, justifying it by claiming that through death he was saving them.

3000 years ago Ludociel is first seen greeting people when they arrive at Stigma's base, located in the Fairy King's Forest. He also entrusts Nerobasta with guarding the shrine's pillar of light.

Ludociel joins Sariel and Tarmiel to aid them in the battle against the Commandments. He easily confronts demons like Fraudrin, Monspiet, and Derriere, who were unable to inflict significant damage on him. Only by transforming into Indra's form can Derriere single-handedly deal damage to Ludociel.

Later, Elizabeth attempts to cleanse Monspiet and Derriere of Indra's form, aided by Sariel and Tarmiel. Ludociel, meanwhile, is furious at the actions of Elizabeth and the Archangels. After cleansing the Commandments, Ludociel attempts to kill them, but is stopped.

Near the end of the Holy War, his brother Mael was killed by the demon Estarossa. This deeply traumatized the angel, as he had loved his younger brother, who possessed the grace of the sun. Afterward, the demons were sealed, and the archangels lost their physical forms.

Ludociel appears to be polite, kind, and hospitable, as shown when he allowed people into Stigma's headquarters in the Fairy King's Forest. However, his kindness seems to end when it comes to the Demon Clan. He is willing to mercilessly exterminate them in the name of peace. Nerobasta stated that Ludociel lost family and friends to achieve Stigma's goals, and therefore cannot afford to fail. He is an angel willing to give everything to achieve one goal. Ludociel is also very prideful. He reveled in the faith and veneration of the people, and thus became arrogant. In his arrogance, he saw others as mere pawns. However, Ludociel understood what he was doing. But he tried to justify it by claiming it was all for the sake of winning the Holy War.

Ludociel is a tall, muscular man with long dark hair and four angelic wings protruding from his back. He also wears gold and green armor, and a long white cape draped over his shoulders, covering most of his armor. His eyes are closed, as Ludociel is blind and there's simply no point in keeping them open. He stands 188 centimeters tall and weighs 80 kilograms.
