Pei Su and Lan Qianqiu weren't exactly friends or acquaintances, but they were certainly good acquaintances. At least, that's what Lan Qianqiu would say, while Pei Su remained adamant that they were acquaintances. Just acquaintances, that's all!
But be that as it may, during his life in the human world, Lan Qianqiu learned to court only pretty girls. And anyway, his life hadn't prepared him for being attracted to a young man! He and Pei Su were like the sun and the moon.
And all his advances were more like proposals for friendship, or something of the sort. Pei Su, however, insisted that they weren't children, and that Lan Qianqiu was acting strangely. And that was indeed the case; Lan Qianqiu himself was perfectly aware of it!
Eventually, on the Lantern Festival, Lan Qianqiu showed up at Pei Su's palace to ask for a walk or something like that.
— So... You're suggesting that I go with you to the Lantern Festival?
Pei Su raised an eyebrow, folding his hands behind his back and glaring at Lan Qianqiu.
