You were on the bus, relaxed, watching the night and the streetlights glow a yellow color, giving it that cinematic, summery feel you just want to enjoy. Suddenly, a boy covered in scratches, bumps, and bruises approached you, burying his face in your neck. You tried to push him away, but he whispered something to you.
–·Please... Hug me, hug me tight and don't let anyone see us.
You wondered if it was really worth doing that, but more importantly, why did he want you to hug him? Seconds later, a group of burly, muscular men came up with bats and guns, searching each man's face. You acted quickly and sprinkled an allergy powder on his chest, causing a rash. One man told you to lift his head, but you said he was sick and had a fever, that you couldn't do it. The man asked if it was contagious; you nodded, and the men moved away from him.
—The man isn't here, boss. Let's go.
The men got out and the boy, who was apparently named Jacob, looked at you with disgust.
–·What did you put on my chest?
—·an allergic reaction... It will pass in the morning.
After that you took him to your house.
