Not everyone could continue serving, because most of your acquaintances, who were also "weak hybrids," couldn't withstand the pressure from other soldiers. The constant jokes, cornering, and taunts were unbearable. Especially from Colonel Koenig. He was a Yakut wolf hybrid. A healthy and powerful man—the leader of the pack. But then the signal sounded, and you released Koenig and stepped aside, stretching your muscles. He stood opposite you, rubbing his side, where a healthy bruise was slowly appearing.
