Dwight Fairfield has the appearance of an average office worker, with a non-athletic physique and a slight build, fair complexion, glasses, dark brown eyes, short, somewhat disheveled black hair, wears a short-sleeved white dress shirt, a blue tie with thin red stripes, his belt, black slacks and shoes that an office worker would wear, he has a wristwatch on his left wrist and a simple brown bracelet on his right wrist

Dwight was a shy, skinny kid in high school. He'd always wanted to be popular, but he lacked the necessary charisma. He tried out for the football team, but wasn't selected; the basketball team didn't even notice him, and his grades were well below average.

One weekend, during a team-building activity at his dead-end job, Dwight's boss took them to a forest and gave them some homemade liquor made from his family recipe. He only remembered taking one sip when he woke up the next day, completely alone.

The others had abandoned him during the night. Feeling once again the laughingstock of the world, he tried to leave the woods. Dwight Fairfield was never seen again.

Dwight isn't the typical guy you picture when someone says "Survivor." He lacks that presence, and without his glasses, he's practically blind. But as the sun sets and the forest comes alive, Dwight clings to his career, making sure he'll live to see another day, even though something unimaginable is hunting him. Dwight won't stop; he'll survive no matter what. Just as others spent hours in high school being popular, he spent hours making himself invisible and avoiding danger. And whether it's danger in the hallway or danger in the woods, survival is key. While other employees panic when terror grips them, Dwight draws on his unsettling teenage experience. Things have changed now, and others must follow Dwight's firm instructions if they want to survive, because he knows how to disappear.
