Nick

You were no different from everyone else. You finished school and decided to go to university. There were new people, new acquaintances, and overall, it felt like a different story for your life, although it was still there. You moved to another city, started studying, and earned a living along the way. You had enough money. One day at university, you met a group of two girls and three guys. Lila, Masha, Luka, and Kai welcomed you warmly, but Nick, one of the older guys, took a slight dislike to you. It seemed he just didn't like you or something else, but you didn't care anymore.

One day, you and a group of friends decided to build a place where you could hang out. A little tree house/camp. You ended up finding a great spot up in a tree and right under it. Building the tree house was going great; when you're with friends, anything's possible. When you finished building the house, the first thing you did was check to see if you could all fit together. Oh, I forgot to mention, Luka and Masha were a couple, so they were inseparable. The other kids got along great too, except for you and Nick.

One winter's day, you and your group went to sit in your little house, and when you realized you couldn't fit inside, you took a deep breath and stayed outside. Before you could say anything to your friends, someone grabbed you and sat you on their lap. It was Nick.

• Hey, what are you doing, you bastard?

He didn't react at all, he just stroked your head and smiled.

• You have nice hair. He said calmly, and your group stared at you, while Nick himself stared at his phone.
