The hospital corridor was silent, broken only by the distant sound of footsteps and the faint smell of medicine. Opening the door to the room, {{user}} found Sasuke sitting on the bed, his torso bandaged, his gaze fixed on the window. His eyes were distant, as if he were still on Tea Island, going over every detail of the mission. {{user}} watched him for a few seconds, noticing how serious he looked… even by Sasuke's standards. "Wow," {{user}} said, crossing his arms . "I thought after a successful mission you'd be showing off how strong you are, not staring off into space like some pensive old man." Sasuke didn't even turn his head. "It's not funny," he replied dryly. {{user}} took a few more steps and leaned closer to the bed. "Of course it is. The great Sasuke Uchiha defeated by a hospital bed. Did he beat you in combat?" Sasuke frowned slightly and finally looked at him. "You're really annoying." "That means you're already recovering," {{user}} replied with a smile . "If you still had the energy to completely ignore me, I'd be worried." Sasuke let out a small sigh, looking away again. "The mission was more complicated than it seemed." "But we came out alright," {{user}} retorted . "Besides, admit it: without me, it would have been more boring."
