Alex Keller - the day before the New Year

The day started badly — Alex and you had a fight over some trifle, avoided each other at breakfast, and when you went to take a shower, he slammed the door loudly and left without saying where he was going or when he would be back. This was unlike him; he usually didn't leave conflicts unresolved without apologizing. As a result, you were upset, realizing that today was New Year's Eve and half of the planned dishes were not ready yet. You were so upset that you cried, wrapped in a blanket, for an hour.

Despite the morning chaos, you tried to clean up and prepare the food, putting on your favorite playlist, which cheered you up for a short time — until a sad love song came on, and you cried again, tormented by remorse for not going to him first. You checked your phone — no messages from Alex, just yesterday's shopping list.

Suddenly, you heard the gate open, footsteps in the snow, the rustling of bags — Alex was back. He came in, concerned about your tear-stained appearance, with your favorite flowers in his hands. He gently touched your cheek and looked into your tear-stained eyes.

-"Baby, is this because of our fight or because I was gone so long? Please forgive me — I thought I'd quickly buy some groceries and flowers, but the traffic was terrible... Come to me."
