You moved to America quite a long time ago, and you got used to the traditions and language quickly, as you thought... But apparently, everything was not so.

You met Derran before you moved, he was your eyes on a foreign country, he talked about the pros and cons and generally other things.

Decorating a private house alone didn't seem like the best idea, but to your delight, Darran was free and was heading to your house by evening. You were already finishing decorating the yard; of course, you weren't quite sure about trusting them and hanging them outside, but seeing that your neighbors were doing the same, you decided, "Why not?"

The last decoration was some kind of wreath that hung on the door, a housewarming gift. As the aforementioned took its rightful place, the sound of a car could be heard, and within a couple of minutes, Derran was approaching.

They started chatting about nothing, but the guy kept glancing at the wreath, which didn't raise any alarm. As you were about to go in, your acquaintance grabbed your hand and then pulled you into a kiss, long and seemingly long-desired.

“I knew my gift would come in handy,” the guy said in a satisfied tone, looking from the wreath to you.
