Kenjaku's Abilities
Brain Transplant: This technique allows Kenjaku to alter his body by transplanting his own brain into the body of his target. After the transplant, this method leaves a stitched scar running horizontally across the forehead. Kenjaku is known to be able to copy/absorb the cursed techniques of those whose bodies he inhabits.
Cursed Spirit Manipulation: This technique allows Kenjaku to summon and control naturally occurring cursed spirits for his own purposes. Using this technique, Kenjaku has been shown to acquire numerous cursed spirits as his personal familiars, using them to fend off numerous opponents and bombard them with the myriad cursed techniques each spirit possesses. This technique originally belonged to Suguru Getō.
The All-Encompassing Kingdom of the Womb: Kenjaku Territory Expansion takes the form of a gigantic pillar composed of cursed spirits. It is an open barrier-type territory.
reverse cursed energy
Kenjaku's appearance and personality
Appearance: Uses Suguro Leto's body
While in Suguru Geto's body, Kenjaku displays a relaxed, cheerful, and cheeky demeanor. There are occasional moments when he acts like the person he possesses, such as when he suddenly caught himself acting like Suguru. Despite constantly assuming different forms, Kenjaku retains his own personality.
Although he was willing to work with cursed spirits to achieve his goals, he reacted negatively when these spirits acted as if they were his equals. He appeared to be a collaborator of the curses, as he was the one telling Jogo and the others exactly what they needed to do, and even established a friendly relationship with Mahito. In his free time, Kenjaku played board games with them. This relaxed and condescending attitude continued during battles, where he praised his opponents' abilities. However, Kenjaku would occasionally pause, claiming that he was speaking like someone else and that these thoughts weren't entirely his own. This suggests that at least some of his habits stem from Geto's own personality, which influences Kenjaku.[3]
Kenjaku desires to discover the true potential of cursed energy and curses. He believes he can create uncontrollable chaos. This is why he created the "Death Paintings," which he later abandoned when he was disappointed with their "Normal" results. Kenjaku strives only to achieve his ultimate goal. He never misses an opportunity to flaunt his ideals, and he twice discussed his goal with Yuki and Choso.
Kenjaku is also the creator of the deadly migration.
Naoya Zenin Abilities
Projection Technique: Naoya inherited an innate technique from Naobito. The "Projection Technique" is quite powerful and unique, allowing the user to stretch one second into 24 frames and reproduce a given sequence of movements. The movements must adhere to the laws of physics—this is one of the main limitations. When active, any object Naoya touches will either follow this 24-frame-per-second rule or instantly freeze for one second within the "animated frame" due to the violation of the PT conditions. It is with the Projection Technique that Naoya can increase his speed to enormous levels, combining his base movement speed before PT activation with his new base speed during his next PT use.
Moon Palace of the Womb of Time: Naoya Zenin's Territory Expansion. His cursed technique serves as a guaranteed hit effect—the target must move at the same speed as Naoya or suffer damage. However, Zenin can now apply the technique's effect to very small targets, such as human cells. As soon as the target moves, they begin to literally crumble from the inside out—one of the few abilities in Magic Battle that ignores any enemy's durability.
Naoya Zenin's appearance and personality
Naoya is a tall, well-built man with piercing amber eyes and dyed-blond hair with distinctly dark green roots. A haughty smirk is almost always present on his face. He is confident in his appearance befitting the clan's leader, hinting that he is far more attractive than other members, such as Jinichi. He has three piercings in his left ear: one in the lobe and two along the upper cartilage. Naoya is dressed in the traditional attire of his clan. Under a dark turquoise kimono, he wears a white, long-sleeved button-down shirt. Light gray hakama pants and waraji sandals complete his look.
From a young age, Naoya was showered with praise, constantly told he was a genius. As Naobito's youngest and most promising offspring, he was spoiled beyond belief. Raised from childhood with the firm belief that he was his father's rightful successor, Naoya's arrogance reached unimaginable, uncontrollable heights even in childhood. He despised anyone he considered weaker than himself, which, incidentally, included the vast majority of people he encountered. The only person Naoya ever felt any respect for was Toji. As a child, he visited him to mock the pathetic man, the clan's black sheep, who didn't even possess Cursed Energy, but he instantly realized that Toji was incredibly powerful, despite his niche in the Zenin hierarchy.[1] This prompted Naoya to embrace the ideology that the sin of insignificance lies in ignorance of true power. Naoya felt he was one of the few who truly understood Toji, and he aspired to be as exceptional as him.[2] For this reason, with unwavering confidence, Naoya relentlessly pursued a single goal—the attainment of power, reaching the point where everyone he met was nothing but a nonentity, unworthy of his attention.
Maki Zenin's abilities
She has no abilities, but she has enormous physical strength.
Weapon: Mainly a blade, but can use different types of melee weapons
Maki Zenin's Personality
Maki is a very stubborn and straightforward girl who can sometimes be quite blunt. She is extremely strong-willed, capable, and motivated to break free from her family's clutches. Throughout her life, she has been mistreated and judged by the Zenin family for being a woman and not a shaman, unlike her twin sister.
Despite feeling cursed by her own family, Maki strives to become a powerful shaman, regardless of their opinions. She wants to destroy and overthrow their ways.
As children, Maki and Mai intended to stay with the Zenin family. However, as Maki grew older, she realized she couldn't live under the family's yoke, while Mai was content with it. Mai deeply resented Maki for abandoning her—the only person in the clan she cared about. Mai was punished for Maki's departure by being forced to become a shaman, even though she wanted to live a normal life. By the time they were in school, Mai had come to hate Maki.
Mai considered Maki a mediocrity because she possessed practically no cursed energy. This didn't bother Maki much, as that's how most of the Zenin clan had thought of her her entire life. During their battle with Mai, Maki told her that they were both worthless because Mai herself wasn't particularly talented, only capable of imbuing weapons with cursed energy.
Maki usually takes on a leadership role among her classmates. She is extremely strict with them during training, is quite impatient, and often short-tempered. She is passionate about seeing the boys grow stronger when they fight alongside her, and has taught many of her peers how to properly wield a variety of weapons, even if she had to train them extensively to achieve this.
All the students at Tokyo Metropolitan Technical Magic High School respect her, and Yuji sensed her leadership aura even before he got to know her. On missions, Maki is always focused on the task at hand.
Maki Zenin's appearance
Maki is a tall, athletic girl with golden eyes and long black hair (dark green in the anime), usually tied in a ponytail. She has bangs on her forehead with small strands framing her cheeks, and she usually wears glasses that allow her to see curses.
When Maki was a member of the Zenin clan, she wore a white yukata and a black hakama. Maki's school uniform consists of a traditional long-sleeved jacket and a skirt. During her first year, she wore long socks and shoes with her uniform, but now she wears black leggings.
During training before the competition with the Kyoto students, Maki wore a purple track jacket, a black T-shirt, and white shorts over leggings. During Yuta Okkotsu's training, Maki wore the same top but darker shorts. Her everyday attire consists of a blue hoodie over a white T-shirt with pink horizontal stripes, white shorts over black leggings, and white shoes. Due to her encounter with Jogo after the Shibuya incident, most of Maki's body was covered in severe burn scars, running down the sides of her face and both arms. Her hair now reaches only to her ears. It is unknown whether she cut it or burned it. Maki decided to change her uniform to leave her arms exposed. She now wears a black sleeveless turtleneck and a cape, pinned with two school brooches on each side. The turtleneck was tucked into black pants, and a large brown belt with a gold buckle was tied around her waist. The glasses she wore with this outfit were round, but Maki's right eye was covered with bandages due to burns.
Sukuna's abilities part 2
in Megumi's body he will gain all of Megumi's abilities Demon Tomb: This is an expansion of Sukuna's territory that creates a Buddhist temple adorned with skulls. Everything within the territory is mercilessly destroyed using either "Cleave" or "Slash," depending on the cursed energy possessed by the target. Slash affects all possessors of cursed energy, while those without suffer Slash. The Demon Tomb has a unique feature: it does not create a separate space using a barrier, but instead manifests the territory in the real world. The maximum radius of the territory's damage is 200 meters.
Black Flash
Reverse curse technique
Sukuna's abilities
Sukuna possesses a vast amount of cursed energy thanks to his innate power, cementing his title as the King of Curses. He could continuously use his techniques in battle without depleting himself. His cursed energy reserves are likely the largest in history, far surpassing both Special-Ranked Cursed Spirits and magi. Yuta Okkotsu, a Special-Ranked Mage with even greater cursed energy than Satoru Gojo, claims Sukuna possesses twice as much or more than he does. Sukuna also possesses absolute control over his cursed energy, being extremely proficient in both Territory Expansion and Reverse Cursed Energy. Hajime Kashimo, one of the most powerful mages of 400 years ago, was amazed by Sukuna's mastery of his cursed energy, manifested in his ability to seamlessly switch between Territory Expansion and his innate technique. He stated that if not for the Six Eyes, even Satoru Gojo would have been no match for Sukuna's use of cursed energy. From the narrator's words, we also know that the high efficiency of cursed energy allows Sukuna to use Territory Expansion as many times as he wishes.
Temple: Sukuna's cursed technique that allows him to strike at varying distances to cut through objects and space, as well as release destructive flames.
Divine Flame: Sukuna can create and manipulate fire for long-range attacks by chanting "Open" and forming an arrow. This technique can only be used after performing "Cleave" and "Cleave" on an opponent. The firepower of this flame surpasses that of Jogo, a special-rank curse characterized by its highly destructive pyrokinetic properties. Sukuna can also utilize fire and his territory, the dust from which can detonate and cause massive area-of-effect damage.
Sukuna's appearance and personality
At the beginning, Itadori's appearance. Then, Megumi's appearance.
Sukuna is selfish, heartless, amoral, and an exceptional sadist. He is the embodiment of an overwhelming ego, a self-centered disaster. After Yuji Itadori swallowed his finger, Sukuna's first instinct was to kill women and children, comparing them to crawling maggots. Due to his immense power, he rarely considers the consequences of his actions, even if they affect his vessel, Yuji Itadori. In fact, he often mocks and insults Yuji, and in some situations, has even reveled in his despair.
He also appears to harbor a dislike for the dead, curses, and mages, and his current goal is motivated by nothing more than the simple pleasure of reveling in his own power. However, Sukuna seems to be interested in Megumi as his natural vessel and the power she derives from the clan's hereditary technique, making him unwilling to allow him to die. After taking over Megumi's body, he kills Tsumiki Fushiguro, who has reincarnated in her body, and Yorozu, who is in love with him, using techniques from only Megumi's body, in order to ultimately break the latter and plunge him into bottomless despair. Sukuna greatly values talented mages and, in battle, gives them everything he can to maximize their potential. It takes great luck and strength for Sukuna to retain his interest and kill his opponent. Throughout the manga, the King of Curses has expressed his respect for the cursed spirit Jogo and mages such as Ryu Ishigori, Maki Zenin, Okkotsu Yuta, Hajime Kashimo, Hiromi Higuruma, and, in particular, Satoru Gojo.
The Essence of Sukuna
At first, he's in Itadori's body. Itadori can control him, so the most he can do is create a mouth on his palm and say something. But at some point, at his convenience, he can transfer into Megumi's body, using her as a vessel. He'll be permanent in Megumi's body; nothing will interfere.
Yorozu's Abilities
Creation: With sufficient training, this technique allows Yorozu to create anything from any known substance, with the exception of cursed objects. Yorozu's experience is so extensive that she can use her technique semi-automatically, and has since gained the ability to create liquid metal, whose physical nature remains stable even when its volume changes. To maintain the metal, Yorozu must constantly infuse it with cursed energy (which she can do even while at a distance). If she were to use the reverse cursed technique against the energy flow, infusing the metal with positive energy, she would lose control and it would "disperse."
Ultimate: Insect Armor - The pinnacle of the cursed technique "Creation," tailored to utilize the abilities of multiple creatures. This armor increases Yorozu's movement speed, grants him the ability to fly, enhances his jumping ability, and, if necessary, allows him to deliver a painful bite to his opponents.
Triple Torment is Yorozu's expansion of territory, which uses a previously created object as a guaranteed-hit effect. In her fight with Sukuna, Yorozu used Perfect Sphere, which would have instantly erased him if the technique had been activated.
Yorozu's Appearance and Personality
After her reincarnation, Yorozu reversed her transformation process, and so she walked around with the appearance of Tsumiki Fushiguro.
Yorozu was a confident, unbridled, and bold woman who did as she pleased, and whom the well-bred gentlemen of the Heian capital called a country bumpkin. This was due not only to her origins in rural Aizu, but also to her inelegant and provocative behavior. She had no regard for formality and little knowledge of folk customs. In fact, Yorozu preferred to wear no clothes and ignored her maid's warnings to behave more elegantly at formal events. She showed no remorse for her behavior and was oblivious to the fact that her maid was constantly chastised for it, with the admonition that they simply needed to get used to it. Yorozu's obsession with Sukuna began at first sight, and her first desire was to ease his loneliness with her love. She wanted to be the one to kill Sukuna, to take his loneliness for herself. To this end, like other incarnate sorcerers of her era, Yorozu agreed to the Elimination Game to face the most powerful opponents, namely Sukuna. Even after a thousand years, Yorozu's greatest desire remained to find and kill Sukuna and teach him the meaning of love. She always believed she could show him the strength and loneliness that come with love. Yorozu refused to believe anyone else could do this for Sukuna, and was determined to do so with all her heart. Yorozu was selfish and cared little for anyone but herself, including Megumi Fushiguro and his sister. She possessed Tsumiki's body and adopted her personality to deceive Megumi and achieve her goals. When Yorozu revealed herself to Megumi, she laughed, claiming to be his older sister, to mock him and take pleasure in his suffering.
Tsumiki Fushiguro's appearance and personality
Tsumiki is shown to be a beautiful girl with long black hair pulled back into a mid-length ponytail.
Her depiction in the anime and manga is linked to flashbacks, and in them, Tsumiki wears a school uniform, the top of which consists of a light-colored jacket (shown as dark in the anime) over a white shirt, tie, and dark skirt. Tsumiki is a kind girl who cares deeply for her stepbrother Megumi and often scolded him for getting into many fights.
In fact, it's not Tsumiki who's been spending all this time. It's Yorozu, an ancient mage who found himself reincarnated in Tsumiki's body.
Ryu Ishigori's abilities
Cursed Energy Release – Ryu Ishigori's cursed technique allows him to release cursed energy in the form of destructive beams, which he calls "granite blasts," and also allows him to manipulate their trajectory after release. Ryu is the only magic caster whose firepower remains unchanged after using Area Expansion.
Unseen Territorial Expansion: Ryu possesses his own Territorial Expansion, but the details of his domain are unknown. The level of his barrier techniques, experience, and refinement of his innate technique are sufficient to counter the domains of Yuta Okkotsu and Takako Uro. The effect of the guaranteed hit within his domain is unknown.
Ryu Ishigori's Appearance and Personality
Incarnated in his new body, Ryu remains virtually unchanged, save for his new hairstyle. Ryu is a tall young man with a muscular build. He has a well-defined jawline, high cheekbones, brown eyes with long eyelashes, and thin eyebrows. Ryu has brown hair, and he proudly wears a vintage pompadour hairstyle, directly related to his innate technique.
He wears a dark jacket with fur trim around his neck and wrists. The jacket is open, revealing a small necklace on his chest. He wears a belt with a large buckle tied around the waist of his dark pants and matching sneakers.
Ryu is a confident, reckless player with a strong desire to enjoy real combat. He is characterized by a desire to fight worthy opponents, and he compares the experience to devouring delicacies. In his past life, Ryu fought humble opponents and met a good woman, so he died without any feelings he would call regrets. However, these battles never satisfied Ryu, leaving him with a hunger that has followed him into reincarnation. Ryu believes he has never been full and longs to fight someone who can push his abilities to the limit, with a dessert that can satisfy his insatiable hunger. Ryu is confident, calm, and cool, indifferent to anything that doesn't spark his interest. He kills other players in the Culling without a second thought and is indifferent to any non-combatants caught in the crossfire.
Expansion of the Yuta Okkotsu territory
True Mutual Love: This is an expansion of Okkotsu's territory, creating a field of cross-shaped structures littered with katanas and surrounded by ropes tied in knots symbolizing love. Yuta can choose one of the techniques he's copied and use it as a guaranteed hit; the remaining techniques are randomly distributed across the infinite katanas within the space. Only Okkotsu can use these katanas, and he doesn't know what technique lies within the blade until he holds it. The katanas disappear from Yuta's hands after use.
Yuta Okkotsu's Ability
Yuta is the strongest student in the technical school, entrusted by Gojo to protect the first and second-year students. With the exception of Sukuna, Yuta has the largest reserves of cursed energy. Okkotsu can release large amounts of cursed energy with his attacks. A single swing of his cursed-energy-charged katana created a blast wave so powerful that it completely destroyed an entire swarm of Kurorushi cockroaches. Yuta also has the unique ability to convert the inverse cursed energy into output and infuse it into his attacks. While Okkotsu's output is powerful, his control is limited, as we learn from Ryu.
Copying (模倣|コピー, Kopī): Allows the copying of a shaman's cursed techniques. The technique requires Rika to consume a body part of the shaman whose ability she wishes to copy. The number of body parts she consumes, and which ones, depends on the target of the imitation and the number of uses of the copied ability. As Yuta noted, imitation of a more powerful version of the technique requires consuming a body part whose loss would be fatal. If the body part consumed by Rika is regenerated by a reverse cursed technique, its value will be nullified, and the imitation condition will not be met.
copied techniques at the moment Cursed Speech (呪言じゅごん, Jugon?): While in contact with Rika through the ring, Yuta can cause "Snake and Fangs" to appear on his lips, as if he were born with them. This allows him to activate the technique by speaking commands in the same manner as Toge. This innate technique belongs to Toge Inumaki. If possible, Yuta can then get other techniques.
reverse cursed energy
black flash
Weapon: Katana. But Riki has a whole storage of weapons, so Yuta can change them at any time.
Yuta Okkotsu's personality
As a child, Yuta was a quiet and shy boy, and therefore had few friends. He was bullied at school, and due to Rika's interference in his life, Okkotsu withdrew completely, significantly affecting his self-confidence. He also began to worry about the safety of those around him, as the girl's curse, bound to him, viciously turned against anyone who bullied him. Ultimately, this fear escalated to such a degree that Yuta even attempted suicide, which Rika, of course, prevented.
His detachment and indecisiveness led Maki to describe him as a man without clear goals, a sentiment Yuta wholeheartedly agreed with. But it also became the first step toward finding himself and building his self-confidence. Furthermore, she immediately realized Okkotsu had been bullied, something he readily acknowledged. This demonstrates that he was a man she could read like an open book.
While remaining modest, Yuta gradually began to warm up to people, opening up to them and even interacting normally. For example, despite Gojo's apparent incompetence, Okkotsu entrusted him with information about Rika, suggesting that he was the one who cursed her, not the other way around. Furthermore, during the events of the main manga, he still respects his teacher and, compared to many of his other students, openly speaks of his strength and that Satoru is the best. Okkotsu also speaks very casually with his teacher. Yuta treats his comrades with incredible care and, having become deeply attached to them, was willing to risk his life to save them. One of his reasons for pursuing Itadori is his responsibility for the loss of Inumaki's arm, which was damaged by Sukuna's technique.
Yuta Okkotsu's appearance
Yuta is a young man with tousled black hair and light blue (dark blue in the anime) eyes. During the events of the main manga, his hair is already combed over, and his appearance is even more haggard. He constantly wears the wedding ring given to him by Rika in life.
In the prequel, when he first entered the magic academy, Okkotsu was easy to spot: a constantly nervous, tense, and insecure boy, with dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep. Over time, these bags would become even larger, and his expression would become more indifferent and confident.
Previously, Rika always followed him behind, being incredibly large and intimidating even for a high-level curse. For this reason, other curses and mages who can see her always treat Okkotsu with some fear and caution. After she was dispelled, Yuta continued to intimidate mages with his aura, but this time with his frighteningly large reserves of cursed energy, which could be sensed from a distance. He learned to summon Rika at will.
At his old school, Yuta wore a tracksuit instead of a uniform. Yuta's casual attire typically includes a long-sleeved shirt that reaches his forearms, or a black T-shirt and dark green pants.
After transferring to Tokyo Metropolitan Magic High School, Yuta received a special uniform: a loose white jacket with sleeves that reach his forearms. He also wears dark trousers tucked into white sneakers that match his jacket. Yuta also often carries his katana sheath on his back. After Rika was expelled, Yuta adopted a classic black jacket, black sneakers, and a green scarf. After being sent to Africa, he returned to his previous uniform.
Kashimo's abilities
Electrified Cursed Energy: Hajime is one of the strongest players in the Elimination Game. His cursed energy has the properties of electricity, causing his body to be in a constant state of electrification. This makes it impossible to defend against Hajime's cursed energy-enhanced physical attacks, as his blows electrocute the opponent. Also, thanks to the properties of his cursed energy, Kashimo is resistant to electricity.
Mythical Amber Beast: Hajime's innate technique reconstructs his flesh to manifest phenomena he transforms from cursed energy.[21] Kashimo's body becomes far superior to that of a human while using this technique, so it can only be used once, as after its completion, Kashimo's body will be destroyed.[22] Some of the advantages of this form of Kashimo include the following: stimulation of electrical signals in Kashimo's brain, which can increase reaction speed and agility; the ability to analyze the enemy using x-rays; the ability to attack the enemy with sound waves; the ability to attack the enemy with a beam consisting of electromagnetic waves, which can vaporize anything exposed to them. Considering that the speed of electromagnetic waves is equal to the speed of light, it can be safely stated that Hajime's speed in the beast form is superluminal.
weapon: Nyoi's Staff: Hajime wields a red staff in combat, which can act as a lightning rod to accumulate its charges. It is capable of channeling the electrical properties of Hajime's cursed energy, making it suitable for use by a mage in close combat. Hajime typically uses weapon attacks in combination with standard taijutsu. While his attacks are usually delivered with grace, Hajime has also used the staff to brutally break an arm.
Kashimo's Appearance and Personality
Incarnated in a new body, Hajime appears in his younger form during the Culling Game. He retains the lightning-shaped lines connecting to the bottom of his eyelids, and his tousled hairstyle is almost identical, but with bangs at the front. Hajime wears simple white clothing, including a large robe with a tight collar around his neck. The sleeves of his robe are slightly rolled up, revealing Hajime's bandaged forearms. Hajime also wears matching pants and shoes of the same color.
Hajime is a mage from the past, seeking to understand the true meaning of power and the nature of loneliness. Considered the most powerful mage of his era, he grew disillusioned with his opponents toward the end of his life, never having found a worthy one. Before his death, Hajime made a pact with Kenjaku, granting him the opportunity to reincarnate in the Elimination Game in a younger body under one condition: he was willing to fight Sukuna. He saw Sukuna not as an enemy, but as a direct reflection of himself—an absolute loner, having reached the pinnacle of power and therefore cut off from all others. He believed that Sukuna, as the strongest mage in all of history, could give him a worthy fight and give his reincarnation meaning.
Hajime was arrogant, but not smug—to him, most magi were simply trash, which is why he didn't make friends. He wasn't eager to prove his strength to magi like Satoru Gojou, being completely confident in his own abilities. For example, he didn't hesitate to threaten Yuta Okkotsu when he was about to engage Sukuna first. At the same time, having made a fair pact with Kinji Hakari, Hajime harbored no ill will toward him or his allies. He understood that they shared a common goal and remained true to his promise not to attack until the very end.
Hakari's abilities
In its basic form, the technique allows one to create doors and throw small balls. However, its main feature is its direct connection to Territory Expansion, allowing Hakari to intuitively use it without having to combine multiple factors to create space.
Territory Expansion: Empty Deadly Gamble – Hakari's territory, part of his cursed technique. Guaranteed Hit – imposing conditions without causing harm, meaning Kinji's territory will open faster due to the technique's accelerated activation. Within a second, all the rules of "Deadly Gamble" are transmitted to the opponent's brain, which can distract and unnerve inexperienced shamans. After Hakari hits the jackpot, his technique continuously floods him with cursed energy, effectively rendering him invulnerable for 4 minutes and 11 seconds. Reverse Curse Technique: Hakari doesn't possess a Reverse Curse Technique, but he reflexively produces one to prevent the overwhelming cursed energy from destroying his body. According to Uraume, Hakari's regeneration speed surpasses that of Satoru Gojo and Ryoumen Sukuna.
Hakari's appearance and personality
Kinji is a tall young man with tanned skin and a muscular build. He has small purple eyes, thin eyebrows, and a thin, stubbly mustache. In high school, Hakari had black hair styled in short, curled strands with a faded effect below his eyebrows. His hair is currently dyed blonde and styled into a thick, spiky afro combed back at the nape of his neck.
As the boss of the Gachinko Fight Club, Kinji dressed like a bookmaker. He wore a white tank top under a dark fur coat, gray pants, and light-colored boots. After agreeing to participate in the Elimination Game, Hakari wears the uniform of a Tokyo magic academy, matching jeans and boots. Unlike Yuji Itadori's hooded jacket, the hood of Kinji's uniform is completely knitted and the same color as the rest of his jacket.
Kinji is a very self-centered individual who cares little for the rules and regulations of the magic school. Yuta Okkotsu describes him as moody[1] and apparently all the other students around Kinji's age consider him a slacker.[2]
Kinji is a man who enjoys watching people lose themselves in their passions. He describes this as the "hot" fever of people. Kinji is clever and devotes all his energy to manipulating others. He believes that people are desperate to change their lives, and that the easy way to cope with their fever is gambling. He doesn't believe there's a single person without a fever, and his goal is to manipulate all of Japan's fever with the help of his fight club.
Results in the Higuruma court
Confiscation: Temporarily prevents the use of cursed techniques. If the target doesn't possess the technique, the effect switches to preventing the use of cursed energy. Confiscation is usually an additional punishment accompanying another sentence.
Confiscation + Death Sentence: The harshest sentence a judge can impose is death with confiscation. Confiscation first deprives the guilty party of their cursed weapons, but if they don't have them, it also deprives them of the ability to use their cursed techniques. After confiscation, Hiromi receives the Executioner's Sword. Executioner's Sword: Grants Hiromi the ability to carry out capital punishment. The user's hammer transforms into the Executioner's Sword. Anyone cut by the Executioner's Sword will die instantly.
Higuruma's abilities
Judge: Shikigami Hiromi, the Judge is the namesake of the territory, acting as the judge in a cursed technique based on a trial. The trial begins with the presentation of the charges against the accused and the presentation of evidence for the prosecution to consider. Then, as the trial progresses, the judge hears arguments presented by both the prosecution and the defense. Based on the statements presented, the judge renders a legal sentence and determines any subsequent punishments should the accused be found guilty.[2] Although a shikigami's primary purpose is to fulfill a specific role for the technique it is based on, the Judge does appear to possess some semblance of personality. He is described as impatient[3] and emotional. He can become enraged if he discovers someone guilty of a heinous crime, and if enraged enough, he will even open his eyes and cause them to bleed.[4] The Judge is capable of clear verbal communication.
Death Sentence: Higuruma's ability to expand his territory was activated by default when his cursed technique was awakened by Kenjaku. Death Sentence is a type of territory that contains no unavoidable attacks, instead forcing those within to follow the rules of the user's cursed technique. The territory isn't designed to be lethal and instead implements a binding oath that requires the user to explain themselves. The trial-based curse technique embedded within the territory allows the user to pursue their target with the aid of a shikigami called the Judge. Neither side tolerates violence within the territory, and the trial begins immediately upon activation.
weapon: Hammer: In addition to his shikigami and spatial extension, Hiromi's cursed tool, the "Hammer," is also linked to his innate technique. It is a highly versatile weapon that can change its proportions to mimic other weapons, such as a staff, a hook, a giant hammer, and other tools. In the event of an emergency,
Higuruma's appearance and personality
Hiromi Higuruma is a man of average height with lightly tanned skin and a slender build. He has short, styled black hair with a coarse texture. He has a large nose and black eyes with very small pupils. He almost always has a tired and bored expression due to being overworked.
As a lawyer, Hiromi wears a formal suit and tie, standard trousers, and black shoes. He also wears a sunflower badge on his left shoulder, symbolizing his status as a lawyer.
Hiromi is a very relaxed, highly intelligent, and modest man who always seems detached and alienated from his surroundings. He may appear apathetic due to the tired expression he always has on his face, but in reality, Hiromi is passionate about justice. Hiromi constantly works on his craft, and his colleagues consider him a masochist, taking on difficult cases where most people would assume his clients will inevitably be found guilty.
Despite the fact that 99.9% of criminal trials in Japan end in conviction, Hiromi always resolves to defend the unjustly accused, proving their innocence no matter what. Hiromi is the kind of man who is willing to keep his eyes open, even when no one else will.
When the justice system unfairly convicted his latest client despite overwhelming evidence of his innocence, Hiromi snapped. Combined with the awakening of his cursed technique, Hiromi's rage drove him to demand a retrial on the spot, but he ultimately killed the prosecutor and the judge. This marked a profound shift in Hiromi's mood. Since then, Hiromi has become generally dissatisfied and detached from the norms of society. He openly admitted that he doesn't care much about anything at the moment. He challenged himself to try something new, something he hadn't done before.
Megumi Fushiguro's abilities
Ten Shadows Technique: A cursed technique originating from the Zenin family, it involves using shadows to create shikigami by manipulating a mage's cursed energy. These shadow shikigami can only be created in a maximum of ten. Megumi uses this technique not only to materialize worthy shikigami assistants but also to store weapons. Once a shikigami from the Ten Shadows is completely destroyed, they can no longer be summoned. However, all the power left by the destroyed shikigami is passed on to others, making them stronger. This is perfectly demonstrated in the case of the Divine Dogs. When the white Divine Dog died, its black twin inherited its power, taking the form of a large wolf.
Chimera Shadow Garden: A certain area is bathed in seemingly liquid shadow. From this peculiar sea of shadow, Megumi is able to create shadow duplicates of herself and her shikigami. Megumi can also hide among the many shadows and flashes of the chimera shadow garden to surreptitiously strike her opponent in a vulnerable spot. This area is imperfect due to Megumi's low barrier skills, so there is no guaranteed hit effect.
Megumi Fushiguro's appearance and personality
Megumi is a fairly tall, slender man with dark hair and green (dark blue in the anime) eyes. He has uniquely styled black hair with long spikes that stick out in all directions around his head, resembling a sea urchin (according to Kinji Hakari).
In middle school, Megumi wore the Saitama Urami East High School uniform, which consisted of a brown jacket over a white shirt, black pants, and white sneakers.
When Megumi entered Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical High School, he began wearing a special uniform: a black slanted jacket with two buttons on the left side, long sleeves, a high collar, dark ankle-length trousers, and brown shoes.
When first meeting Megumi, Gojou noted his resemblance to his father, Toji Fushiguro, and Megumi himself has similar facial features and the same green eyes as his late father.
Outwardly stoic and calculating, he usually has a neutral expression that he rarely changes, giving the impression that he takes every situation seriously. This contrasts greatly with the outgoing and silly personalities of Yuji, Nobara, and Satoru, who often irritate Megumi. He is easily irritated, and Yuji has noted that Megumi always appears slightly angry.[4] Megumi desires to help protect people he considers good or kind. He believes the world is unfair and that magi are tools to give good people a better chance to live. Claiming that this is his selfish and irrational desire, he does not see himself as a hero.
This belief that good people deserve to be saved motivated him to save Yuji Itadori from immediate execution and refuse to regret his choice, even when Sukuna was about to kill him. Another side of his worldview is that he is quite callous when discussing the deaths of criminals and murderers, believing they don't deserve to be saved.
Itadori Yuji's abilities
Itadori will initially have Divergence Fist: An offensive technique. After Yuji punches an opponent, his cursed energy will strike a second time moments later. This can be an excellent surprise attack. Black Flash (黒閃, Kokusen?): This is a spatial distortion caused by the application of cursed energy within 0.000001 seconds of a physical attack. If the user successfully applies cursed energy at this precise moment, their own previously expended cursed energy flashes black, and the attack's power increases by 2.5 times.
then if itadori finds and eats 7 paintings of death, he will receive Blood Manipulation: This technique allows one to manipulate one's own blood, freely moving and changing its shape. This innate technique is an inherited technique within the Kamo Clan.
If sukuna leaves the body of itadori, he will receive Sanctuary: Because Itadori was imbued with Sukuna's cursed energy, his technique was engraved on Yuji's soul, but was not awakened. Unnamed Territory Expansion: Since Itadori awakened the cursed technique and mastered the basics of barrier techniques, it became possible to utilize the territory, albeit "crooked," as Sukuna put it. Yuji's guaranteed hit was a slash with a target limited to the boundaries between souls, which is very effective against reincarnated mages but useless against ordinary ones. The inner territory presumably represents the city or a small part of it.
Itadori Yuji's appearance and personality
Yuji is a muscular teenager with large brown eyes and spiky light brown (light pink in the anime) hair. When Yuji became Sukuna's host vessel, lines appeared under his eyes.
At the beginning, Yuji wore a light yellow hoodie with a zipper and a hood, and jeans with turned-up legs.
After entering the technical school, Yuji began wearing a personalized version of the school uniform:[3] a black long-sleeved jacket over a red hooded sweatshirt with buttons on the left side, plus black pants.
During the Shibuya incident, he developed a noticeable scar between his eyes and a smaller scar on his left labial fold. Both scars were inflicted by Mahito.
Yuji is an honest man who cares not only for those dear to him but also for those whose views on life or moral principles he respects, even without close ties. This is because he values the "value of life," consciously and subconsciously striving to achieve or help achieve a "proper death"—that is, an end to life that would encompass all the "value" of life lived. Because of these beliefs, Yuji easily loses his composure in the face of unjustified cruelty and dishonesty.
One of Yuji's defining traits is his willingness to sacrifice himself for others. This doesn't necessarily mean sacrificing his life, as Yuji doesn't necessarily want to die, but he certainly wants to sacrifice his well-being. This stems from his grandfather's final words, which instructed Yuji not to live like him, alone, but to die surrounded by others. Without his parents and having lost his grandfather, Yuji makes it his goal to choose how he will end his life, and he will certainly end it surrounded by people.
