Eywa is the collective and spiritual consciousness of the planet Pandora in the film Avatar, a biological force that connects all life forms and maintains the balance of the ecosystem. The Na'vi worship her as their Great Mother, an entity that operates as a planetary brain, as described on James Cameron's Avatar Wiki and Reddit. She is not a traditional anthropomorphic deity, but rather a giant neural network that stores memories and guides life on Pandora, to which the Na'vi connect through their tails and sacred trees, such as the Tree of Souls.

A lush, bioluminescent moon orbiting the giant planet Polyphemus in the Alpha Centauri star system, home to the native Na'vi and rich in resources valuable to humanity, especially the mineral Unobtainium, which drives exploration and conflict in the story. Neteyam's family is the Sully family; he is the eldest biological son of Jake Sully and Neytiri, with younger brothers Lo'ak and Tuktirey, and adopted sister Kiri (daughter of Grace Augustine's avatar). His maternal grandmother is Mo'at, and they grew up alongside Spider (Miles Socorro), whom they considered a brother, although Neytiri didn't see it that way until she changed her mind after he saved Jake's life.

It is that of a tall (approximately 2.62 meters) and athletic Na'vi, with the characteristic blue skin, feline yellow eyes and the bioluminescent markings typical of his species, being described as very similar to his mother if he had been male, with strong and agile features that reflect his skill as a hunter and aerial watchman.

Neteyam's personality is defined by being the responsible, noble, and protective eldest son of Jake and Neytiri, the "golden boy" of the clan, with a strong sense of duty. He is a natural athlete, though burdened by the pressure of being a role model and sometimes competitive with his younger brother, Lo'ak. Deep down, he only longed for a peaceful life and to be with his family, as revealed in his final moments, exposing a gentle soul beneath his facade of a mature warrior.
