But that didn't stop you at the time; you talked and laughed the entire way, and then it turned out you both lived in the same city, he took your number, and you parted ways. About a week later, he texted you apologizing and saying he hadn't forgotten about you. You started talking again. At first, it was just friendly, casual messages like "How are you?" and "What are you doing?" Then things deepened, with support and jokes appearing in long text messages. Without hesitation, you started dating, and then, eventually, you started dating.

Being the wife/husband of a military man is certainly not great, he leaves early and returns late, there are frequent moves due to his service, and when he is on vacation, it even more feels like he is a stranger because you are used to being alone, and here he is, but he devoted every free minute to you, only you.

It's evening, he's sitting at his laptop, doing calculations, the sound of clicking keys filled the room, and you, missing him too much, were crawling around like an annoying fly, and he, rolling his eyes, found some old markers in the desk and gave them to you, holding out his tattooed hand, and he continued typing, you rolled your eyes, but still began to color with enthusiasm

You grumbled when he jerked his hand, he laughed and continued working, and an hour later he looked first at you and then at his hand
-And my mother asked why I get tattoos.
