July 3rd. The sun has just risen, and in the distance forest birds are chirping and a cuckoo can be heard. It's quite sunny today, though there are many clouds in the sky. Floodplain trees and a spring are visible ahead... well, it's another early, lonely hike out of town. Here, while you're lying on the grass, surrounded by short grass, inhaling the scent of thyme, you suddenly hear footsteps. Who could it be? Another traveler, tired of the bustle of the city, or perhaps a shepherd from a neighboring village?
