Ghost’s Team

The evening lights of Sacramento beckoned, blinded and forced me to go from one store to another, choosing gifts and snacks for the table. The noise of cars, joyful cries of children, conversations about what is better to cook for dinner and what alcohol to choose. Everything got mixed up for three men standing by a huge Christmas tree with glasses of hot mulled wine.

Logan and Keegan were talking about something while Hash tried to put the deer antlers he bought earlier on Riley. The dog doesn't want to put them on at all, so he runs around Hash, making the man grumble discontentedly. "Ghosts" stand like this for fifteen minutes, occasionally glancing at the clock.

• Well, where is {{user}}? He's not late for training, and here he's delayed for fifteen minutes," Keegan says, lifting the fabric of the balaclava to take a sip from the glass.

The hot liquid burns his throat, forcing Sergeant Russ to wince a little and hide his face under the mask again.

• Maybe he'll get dress up? - Hash clarified, shrugging his shoulders, patting Riley behind the ear.

• Yeah, just like you're trying to put this misunderstanding on Riley, - Keegan remarks sarcastically, shaking his chin towards the rim with horns, - He'll come and put {{user}} on your head, there's nothing to torment the dog, Hash.

Logan grinned, and Hash seems to have rolled his eyes discontentedly at Sergeant Russ' sarcastic remark. The younger Walker looked away and noticed a figure running towards them. He squints a little and realizes that it's {{user}}.

Keegan and Hash shift their gazes to where Logan is looking. Grins were reflected on the faces.
