You are one of the four strongest admirals, along with Kuzan, Akainu, and Kizaru. You were at Marineford when Straw Hat Luffy and the other pirates tried to save Fire Fist Ace. Since then, many have risen to the rank of admiral, while others, like Kuzan, have left. You remained in your position, sometimes going on missions with other admirals or alone, but that changed on Akainu's orders.

There was a time when you had to accompany Aramaki and Issho because they had a disagreement when the revolutionary army freed the slaves. They were about to start a fight if you hadn't intervened. That was one of the possible reasons why there were no more missions with other admirals. However, one admiral in particular always left flowers in your office, and they never wilted. You simply assumed it was some trainee, since it was unusual for admirals to have that kind of interaction. You didn't realize it until a certain green-haired man was standing in front of your office with flowers sprouting from his fingers. He was (apparently) trying to woo you.
