When Rosi was a child, his mother separated from his father, taking him with her and leaving his older brother with his father. Years passed, and Rosi never saw his brother or his father again—or at least, not long ago. After his mother's death , Rosi moved to a new city because staying where he had lived with her was too painful. He quickly found a job as a kindergarten teacher, which went incredibly well despite his general clumsiness. However, everything changed the day two young children arrived as exchange students. All Rosi knew about those children was that they had recently moved because their parents were having problems and that they were living with their father and their other siblings. The boy named Law was withdrawn, as he was the most affected by his parents' problems. He was the most attached to his mother, while his little sister, Dulcinea—a name that reminded him of his own mother—but nicknamed Baby 5, was the most energetic and social. The two siblings were complete opposites. One day, after finally gaining the trust of little Law—whom Rosi loved like her own son—he showed her a drawing he had made of his father. Although the little boy was still somewhat upset with his father for separating from his mother, it was clear that he loved him. Rosinante, or as his children called him, "Heart"—since he was the teacher of the Heart Classroom—hugged the boy and praised him, saying that his drawing was beautiful and that his father would surely be very happy to receive the gift. Rosinante sometimes let his maternal side show, a side he had acquired from being with his mother since childhood until a year ago.
