Chi is the energy force emitted by the Kimyo race used to manifest their Talents, and is the very power source of all their inherent abilities. Immensely powerful Kimyos can sense the Chi of other Kimyos and their emotions to a certain extent, as their emotions can affect their Chi output. Also, Kimyos can even conceal their Chi to avoid detection. Even though it is tricky but strong enough Kimyo can use this technique. Every Kimyo possesses a Chi Limit, a boundary of Chi that limits how strong a Talent can grow in strength and effectiveness. It is possible to push the boundary of one's Chi Limit by being injected with the Blood of the Shadow, whose cells are saturated with Chi. When this limit is increased, the new space allows the talent to grow stronger, or the void can be filled with brand-new, stronger talents. The ether realm is a vast unending area of pure potential which act as boundary where the chi-limit of an individual does not extend beyond. When a kimyo dies their chi spills into this realm eventually erasing all of it. Every kimyos are connected throughout this realm with their own section of the void unable to have contact with themselves like atoms.

The first talents to appear in the world were known as the Four Great Talents: Thanatos, Okeanos, Ilios, and Kataigida. The first men, also known as The Great Four, were born with such ancient talents and were seen as gods among men. After their appearance, Kimyos began slowly populating the world. Ilios: This talent is one of the most powerful Talents on earth. It is stated and shown to have the power of the sun, granting them immense pyrokinetic abilities, which allow them to incinerate most foes easily, manipulated to create flame contracts. These flames are so powerful that users could turn night into day. this talent is a Elemental/State. Ilios is one of the original 4 Great Talents, wielded by Che Heart, and a percentage of it to Andrea Thomas. Thanatos: Thanatos is the name of an ancient Talent & one of the 4 Great Talents. Thanatos is a Psychic-type Talent. The exact details of this Talent have never been recorded, however, once wielded correctly, it can single-handedly end all life. Okeanos: The Okeanos talent is one of the original 4 Great Talents, wielded by 2nd Lord Vadik Adelmar. This talent gives its bearer power over water. They have full kinetic control over the movement of any water bodies including the oceans. It is shown to be able to move islands, make giant waves and various constructs out of water. This talent also comes with an animal, a large murray eel, in the same way Thanatos comes with Siberus. Kataigida Is the Storm Talent. This talent is amongst the most powerful talents on Earth, and currently wielded by the most powerful Kimyo, Kevin Morales. This talent grants its users the ability to generate and control lightning. The full details are unknown. The Kataigida Talent is one of the original 4 Great Talents, wielded by Kevin Morales.

Talent Transfer: This occurs when an individual with enough experience and training can mentally pass their talent to a specific human. This method can only be used moments before death as it is immediately fatal. It is often done among the Top 150 to retain powerful Talents within a family bloodline. However, the talent will be reduced in power if split. If a Kimyo decides not to transfer their talent, then the talent will die with them. However, this doesn't mean the end of the talent. It can reappear later in the body of a new Kimyo. Talent Extraction: An illegal and forced way to remove talents from Kimyo, which is considered extremely painful and results in immediate death. The forces of Cain used this way of talent transfer to extract talents from other Kimyos and pass them on to his followers. Object Possession: A highly rare phenomenon in which Talents develop a mind/conscientiousness of their own as an interdependent life force that manifests within an object rather than a human child. The wielder of this object is the wielder of its talent. These objects are known as Talent Weapons.

Semi-Immortallity: A select few Kimyo's can exhibit an advanced semblance of mortal longevity that borderlines on the functionally undying. Many of whom pushing their talent's to such an extent that it can give them the path to eternity. Overdrive: Some ability users can kick their powers into high gear, attaining new forms that bolster their physical & esoteric power to even greater degrees than what they've originally showcased, at least temporarily. Invincible: Few talent rosters can grant an odd faculty where the Kimyo's bonding with said ability enables to become impervious to injury. His Talent is called Heavenly Heptagram, this talent allows the user to create various seals of different strengths to condemn a foe, the strongest of which could destroy a Great 4 Talent. However using any seal carry a great cost. Each seal requires 70% of the users chi, 10% each point rendering the user powerless.

Azam Aziz, Azam Aziz is one of the main characters of Ordeal and a member of the Wolf Pack, fighting to stop the next brewing Human vs Kimiyo War. Anton, Anton King is one of the main characters of Ordeal and a member of the Wolf Pack as well as being designated as the Seventh Head of K.O.D.E. He is fighting to stop the next brewing Human vs Kimyo War. Tevin Charles, Tevin Matthias Charles is one of the main characters of Ordeal. He is a member of the Wolf Pack and the best friend to Che Heart. Andrea Thomas, Andrea Thomas is the granddaughter of Leo Thomas and a member of the Top 150 Kimyos, ranked 147, properly known as the Weapon Master. Che Heart is the Leader of the Pack. Che Heart is the main protagonist of Ordeal. He is the leader of the Wolf Pack, fighting to stop the next brewing Human vs Kimyo War after inheriting one of the Four Great Talents, Ilios, the Sun Fire Talent, from his master, Leo Thomas.

He is the son of the late Sabito and May Heart, older brother of Yukiko Heart, and the fiancé of Andrea Thomas. He is one of the last living members and heir of the Heart Clan, and, originally, a vessel for the Thanatos Talent, before his mother extracted it from him as a baby, making him human before becoming the current vessel for Ilios.

Traitor of the Good Kimyo: Hanjiro Hebi, Hanjiro Hebi was one of the Seven Heads of K.O.D.E, designated as the 3rd Head. It was revealed that he was actually the informant for Thanatos' army and a traitor to K.O.D.E.Hanjiro is a middle-aged man with long, black hair accented by a striking white streak that gives him a unique and formidable appearance. He sports a well-kept goatee and mustache, adding to his mature, rugged look. A deep scar runs across his left eye, rendering him blind in that eye, which appears clouded. His hardened expression and weathered features hint at a life filled with battles and hardships.Hanjiro before the reveal of his betrayal to K.O.D.E carried himself as a man of friendship, embracing Che Heart in the aftermath of the Greenland War whilst shedding tears and telling the Ilios Bearer that he was personally a friend of his father, Sabito Heart. When taken by Aldrich and Niko to Che's hidden location, he professed his shock at how the former had built an entire surveillance system by himself in the desert. After being outed for his misdeeds, Hanjiro's personality shifts drastically, mirroring his namesake. He is cunning, cruel and almost mechanical in how he takes advantage of his knowledge as a Head of K.O.D.E to dismantle their tactics in the midst of battle.

Main Villain: Abel Legasov, Abel Legasov was the Head Chancellor of Trinidad and leader of the Council of Trinidad and Tobago. It is revealed that he is the last living offspring of Thanatos Adamos and the current wielder of the Thanatos talent. Abel is a tall middle aged man with a muscular physique. He has a black extended goatee with brown, neck length hair and green eyes. As a government official is always seen wearing a suit. After gaining the Thanatos Talent, his hair turns white and lengthens to his shoulders. He furthermore takes on the traits of Thanatos. His skin takes on a pale blue color and his eyes turn completely blue and give off an ice blue.

Abel harbors an intense hatred toward Kimyos and is determined to eliminate them from Trinidad and Tobago if given the opportunity. Despite this deep-seated animosity, he remains a calm and well-spoken individual, presenting himself with composure and restraint that belies his ruthless intentions. His eloquent demeanor and controlled presence make his resolve all the more formidable. Under the influence of Thanatos talent, Abel turned into an arrogant and ruthless individual who taunts people without a lack of care and hid behind a veneer of collected composure. When threatened, Abel would lash out in a fearful way. The Main Villain 's subordinate: Vaal Vajezatha, Vaal Vajezatha, or The Shadow, is one of the primary antagonists of Ordeal. He is the last disciple of Cain, an original owner of Thanatos Adamos, who commands the Thanatos Army. He is hellbent on fulfilling his master's plan of exterminating the human race. Vaal Vajezatha has a striking appearance to a vampire. He has crimson eye, his sclera change from white to black when in battle, pointed teeth akin to a vampire and pointed ears. Prior to his battle with Bjorn Grimsson, his black hair is styled with a streak of white in the front. After using his blood sacrifice, Vaal's hair changed to white. He dons a Celtic cross on his forehead. Vaal also has a permanent scar given to him by Sabito Heart that goes from his right shoulder extending down to his naval. Vaal Vajezatha is a highly strategic and meticulous individual, evident in his success at building an army to execute his plans and forming the Gakki, a group powerful enough to rival the God-Tiers, dedicated to countering and eliminating them. He has personally killed multiples God-Tiers who stood in the way of his objectives. Vaal is unwaveringly dutiful and committed, having carried Thanato's will for centuries without faltering. He is also very merciless and ruthless, as shown when he attempted to kill Che’s friend.

Abel's Talent is Thanatos is a Psychic-type Talent. The exact details of this Talent have never been recorded, however, once wielded correctly, it can single-handedly end all life. This Talent has Endless Potential, Energy Absorption/Vampirism, Undead Creation, Telekinesis, Matter Manipulation, Weather Manipulation, Chi Blasts/Telekinetic Blasts, Force-Field Creation, Familiars. Hanjiro Hebi's talent is Rion Gantoretto, a Creation/Kinesis type talent; with it, Hanjiro can manifests two pure gold gauntlets, Lion and Lioness. Lion produces a mighty paralyzing roar while Lioness, the left hand, produces a precise bite aimed at vital points. Furthermore, Hanjiro is capable of molding these golden gauntlets freely to match the situation at hand; when fighting in close quarters, he can extend the gold into a sharpened pointed edge. Through Vaal's boosting of Hanjiro's chi pool through the usage of his blood, Lioness is now capable of launching piercing projectile bites that cleave through Kimyo defenses effortlessly. Vaal Talent is called Dothaneel, The user possesses the ability to manipulate blood at will, with unique biophysical properties capable of siphoning and redistributing the chi of other Kimyos to further strengthen oneself or others, destroy cells, or expand chi limits. Hazardously degrading genetic material by forcing its victims bodies to self-cannibalize, decaying and imploding on itself from the inside out can be done just as easily as it can permanently increase others' chi reserves through sanguine transfusion. This also can be used to the effect of hampering Kimyo regenerative ability via combination of inherent toxicology and life-force draining. Azam Aziz Talent is called Kirin, Kirin is a Haste talent currently wielded by Azam Aziz. It was formerly wielded by Miranda Celic.Kirin grants it's bearer various amounts of directional vector force which can be used in a variety of ways. One of the main examples this facet is used stands in delivering powerful blows via increased velocity resulting high impact. With this Talent, bearers often use weapons which synergies well with the ability parameters. Transformation: Bearers can unleash their max speed & when doing so they not only become faster but they also transform to a degree. This is called Kirin Unleashed. This Talent also has Chi Projection and two techniques called Kirin Five Point Palm and Bramble Shell - Azam whips his Mountain Striker Rope Dart around him in a ball to defend against enemies. Anton's Talent is called Kong, Kong is an ancient living talent broken into two parts: the passive creation aspect, where he can create unbreakable rods, and a shift talent, transforming Anton into Kong itself.The Kong Shift talent requires an equal exchange of chi to shift, meaning 50% of a Kong shift requires 50% of Anton's Chi, and 100% of a Kong shift will drain 100% of Anton's Chi. The User can summon the living talent into existence to call upon his knowledge and experience. Tevin's Talent is called Hide Forge, this Talent allows him to create a protective shell (hide) that gives him both offensive and defensive boosts and capabilities. His hides are formed with various animals as inspiration, of which he has displayed multiple including Rhino, Lion and Blacksmith Hide, which is a combination of multiple hides and their attributes in one at the cost of extra strain on his body. Hide Evolution: The bearer's hides can evolve to various degrees, mitigating their weaknesses & improving upon their strengths. Chi Projection: Hide Forge grants the user to manifest their chi on a physical level in various ways.

Azam is a selfless, jovial and intelligent individual who would try and gather as much info as possible on others, as he was aware about Son-Raz and Nanaku. In addition, he also has an interest in technology, as he was the one who made Che's unique mesh. He is also noticeably creative, as he employed the use of blunt weapons to increase his damage output. After the loss of his lover, Azam became a depressed, suicidal workaholic who prefers focusing on his mission. This loss also emboldened him to try to protect his loved ones, to the point of absurdity. Anton is a laid-back and carefree man, going along with the flow. However, he along with the Wolf Pack, cared a great deal for the late Leo Thomas, willingly joining in Che's desire for revenge against Rokash. In addition, he is also implied to be a glutton, seen stuffing food during the tournament.

He is also level-headed to a certain extent as he did not extend his hatred towards Rokash's bodyguard and even suggested that he backs down. Tevin Charles, Tevin is calm and easygoing, often displaying a sharp sense of humor even in battle. His light-hearted jokes during his fight with Ryu Gatsgan highlight his ability to stay composed under pressure. Deeply committed to Leo's philosophy of being both a protector and a selfless sacrifice for those in need, Tevin firmly believes that taking a life is inherently wrong. This belief puts him at odds with Che, whose actions neglect Leo's teachings.

However, when pushed to the edge, Tevin is willing to compromise his ideals—choosing to kill Rokash to avenge his master and Gatsgan to save the Greyhound troops. These decisions weigh heavily on him, reflecting the inner conflict between his values and the harsh realities he faces.

Tevin Hide Forge has 3 forms. Rhino Hide is a suit of armor constructed out of Chi, it manifest as a grey armor that has traits associated with a Rhinoceros. It is the weakest out of all three hides Tevin can forge but the most cost effective as it relies on oxygen to maintain. It grants enhanced durability and strength in exchange for speed reduction. It also have flame-resistance likely caused by its' bearer constant practice with Ilios' fire. The second mode has reduced cost maintenance and the third form has extra durability. The Lion Hide grants manifest as a white leonine-suit which grants enhanced speed and power. The claws of the hide are incredibly sharp as it can cut down flying missiles. The maintenance cost of the hide comes at Tevin's own stamina. It also has an overdrive mode which transforms the Lion Hide's fur to orange with black stripes not too disimilar with a tiger. Blacksmith Hide is Tevin's strongest and final hide that burns the user's blood as it's fuel. This hide is a combination of both Rhino and Lion and allows Tevin to create an unknown number of grander hides. It grants the user's highly enhanced physical prowess.
Che Heart's Talent is Che Heart holds one of the four Great Talents, Ilios, the Sun Fire Talent. With his accelerated development, he's mastering his Talent quicker than expected. He now has 100% access to the Ilios's power due to accepting his duty as a guardian. "Sun Fire"/Pyrokinesis, Pyrokinetic Construct Creation, Pyrokinetic Infusion, Blue Flame, Sun Creation, Pyrokinetic Levitation and Flight. War State: A form that summons dark gray armor for Che. This state was achieved when Che unlocked 100% of Ilios. In this state, all of Che's abilities are greatly elevated. Anointed War State: A form that summons heavenly gold armor for Che. This state was achieved when Che first acquired Noroigiri, amping up his capabilities to the maximum level.
