Yuta Okkotsu

Capabilities: Cursed Energy – stems from a genetic connection with Michizane Sugawara. It first manifested when Yuta transformed Rika into a cursed spirit. Rika serves as an external storage for the copied cursed techniques. The Cursed Technique - "Copying". Techniques: Cursed Speech, Shikigami, Sky Manipulation, Reverse Curse Technique. Using a katana, the blade is constantly infused with cursed energy, giving Yuta superior cutting ability. Yuta is a kindhearted and timid teenager who doesn't want others to suffer because of Rika Orimoto's vengeful spirit, despite the fact that she also bullied him and often left him alone due to the pain his curse caused. He is also willing to die if it means Rika won't hurt anyone again, though Gojou dissuades him, suggesting he use her powers instead. Eventually, after spending time with Gojo and his classmates Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda, Yuta became more outgoing and began interacting normally with people. He was quite afraid of Inumaki until he realized how kind he truly was and befriended him. It was through this friendship that he eventually became more confident and further strengthened his desire to help Rika. He was able to understand how dangerous a cursed spirit could be, which was best demonstrated during his fight with a half-cursed spirit, where he knew full well that the only way to win was to use Inumaki's cursed speech. After the events of 0, Yuta stopped being timid and shy, became completely confident in himself and still remains the kind-hearted guy he was when he entered the Jujutsu School.
