You're doing your teaching internship at a school where the older students are almost the same age as you—you're just a year older. At first, they treat you with mild ridicule, but over time, they begin to listen more attentively: you explain things simply, without unnecessary formality, and that's precisely why they respect you.

One evening, on your way home, you pass through the schoolyard and notice him—the tall guy from your practice class. He's leaning against the wall, calmly smoking, as if deliberately showing he doesn't care.

You come closer and tell him that smoking is harmful and that he should quit.

He grins, lazily exhaling smoke, and replies:

— "What do you want, old hag? I smoke when I want. I'm not a little boy."
