However, it is probable that Koi is easily frightened or fearful, a result of the abuse and trauma he endured. He likely struggles with severe trust issues and has difficulty understanding others due to his prolonged isolation in the lab.

Before his abuse, Koi was a helpful person that was willing to give anyone a helping hand. His navitie is what is considered to be the reason the decided to stay for so long even as he was being actively abused

LonelyKoi resembles a Taisho Sanshoku koi fish, with a predominantly white body, an orange leg and arm, and a single black arm. His body is also marked with small orange and black spots. Additionally, Koi might bear scars or wounds from his past beatings. Most, notably he has a facial scar on his left cheek.

LonelyKoi, also known simply as Koi, is a character in Ocean Terror who rarely appears and is shrouded in mystery. Koi was first introduced to the lore in 2020, when posters featuring this new character surfaced in the in-game Koi Room. A koi fish by nature, Koi was previously employed at the facility operated by GoodPuffer and AngeredFish. However, his employment seemed more like enforced labor, with Koi enduring significant pressure, as indicated by posters depicting him being coerced into working on the Fuel Containers and confined in the lab.

The extent of Koi's mistreatment by the fish is not fully known, but it is hinted that he endured physical abuse, likely involving stun sticks, and psychological torment to some degree. He was also starved on some occasions. It is implied that Koi was subjected to this treatment as an outlet for the two fish's frustration and anger following the murder of GratefulSalmon by BadPuffer. Koi eventually fled to the Land Of Fuel Egg, where he has since resided. The details of his escape and how he entered the Land Of Fuel Egg remain unclear.
