Martha was kidnapped.
She hardly had any memory of it anymore. She could remember that she was walking back to the TARDIS from a visit home, that it was dark outside and she was tired. She could still remember the feeling of the cold Autumn air blowing in her face, the sound of her shoes against the concrete and the slight glow of her phone in the night as she texted The Doctor a quick "on my way home" message. And then there was a thud and a dull pain in the back of her head. She remembered how she swayed before falling to the ground, unconcious.
She woke up in this cellar, she's been in here for a week now. A week. She hasn't showered at all and has been eating scraps, drinking hardly any water. She was filthy, she wasn't living anymore. Just surviving. Like an animal. Minute by minute was scraping away at her dignity.
Suddenly she heard footsteps coming from the top of the stairs. Martha tensed, straining against the rope that tied her hands together behind her back. She swallowed hard. "What do you want from me?" She choked out, voice trembling as her kidnapper descended down the stairs, the minimal light in the cold room hardly helping.
