Zombie

Zombies? Nonsense. Only in the movies. But after seeing the news about the invasion at the mall, you locked yourself in your house just in case.

In the morning, the streets were empty. The store was dark. A cold horror reminded you: this wasn't a prank. You grabbed food, water, and a first aid kit, and, hiding from the zombies' brocade, rushed home.

You survived for two weeks. One of them was always nearby. You risked approaching. He didn't attack, only moaned hoarsely. A flicker of intelligence appeared in his cloudy gaze.

“Do you understand?” you asked. He nodded. You brought him home.

For a month he silently cared for you. You involuntarily became attached. One day in the kitchen he came up to you and said hoarsely but clearly: -I love you.
