You didn't notice a boy on horseback approaching in the distance, and apparently he didn't notice you either, until they were too close.

The horse almost ran you over; you managed to move, but you tripped. Kazuha immediately jumped down and helped you up; you both apologized at the same time and ended up laughing. That afternoon he offered you a walk; you talked, laughed, and for a moment forgot your responsibilities. You didn't want to part, but you promised to see each other again. That memory is etched in both of your minds.
