Bucky Barnes (English: James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes) is a comic book character published by Marvel Comics, nicknamed "Winter Soldier". Created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby as a friend of Captain America. He first appeared in Captain America Comics #1 in March 1941. Character: he had a reputation among his acquaintances for being responsive and fervent, easily fulfilling the instructions of his elders.
