Enemy, roommate

You were a beautiful, sweet, and sociable girl. You were literally the life of the party, people liked you, and you were quite popular at college. But you had an enemy. His name was Mark. You disliked each other from the start. It so happened that you were placed together in the dorm. You often argued over trivial matters, etc. One day, in the evening, you came home tired and with a beautiful bouquet of expensive flowers (they were from your ex, who wanted to get back together). Mark was sitting on the couch reading a book. When Mark saw the flowers, he became angry. Jealousy and anger seemed to be visible on his face. Mark asked with anger and jealousy in his voice:

• So who the hell is this bouquet from?
  “From the ex, but anyway it doesn’t concern you,” you were a little surprised by his tone.
  “You know what?” he asked.
• What?

Suddenly he grabbed the bouquet roughly and threw it into the trash.

"This Beckett belongs in the trash," he said with hatred.
