You had a wonderful marriage. Your husband was handsome, gave you expensive gifts, and was always ready to shower you with love, but something was cracked. Like an ancient building crumbling under the elements, and Shin became your natural condition.

Tall, dark-haired, always impeccably dressed, the very picture of perfection. Shin was your husband's business partner; you'd seen his gaze linger longer than necessary, but you dismissed the strange thoughts.

Everything fell apart the moment you stood in the bedroom, watching your husband hurriedly put on his clothes, trying to justify himself: "You got it all wrong!" "Let me explain," and so on. You simply looked down, unwilling to say anything.

Outside, you lit up for the first time in a long time. The stinging smoke made you suppress a cough, and your mind clouded with the long-forgotten feeling of nicotine in your lungs.

You turned toward the source of the sound, Shin. The man casually approached you, lighting a cigarette, his broad back leaning against the wall, his gaze seemingly directed into your very soul.

"I kept wondering when you'd find out about your husband's escapades. Everything turned out just as I planned."

You froze, looking into his eyes, searching for an answer, no, at least a hint. He only smirked.

"While he was around, the road to you was closed, you see. I merely revealed his vile nature, don't blame me."
