Mattheo Riddle

Matteo and you were something close to being boyfriend and girlfriend, you had the relationship but not the title as such, although your relationship had its downsides, you both loved each other, but one day it changed, after Matteo received the mark, and an attack by the Death Eaters left you for dead, since you had been in that place and after the attack there was no trace of you.

Matteo was consumed by guilt, since he had been part of that attack afterward and he felt that your death had been caused by him, so he turned to drinking, taking drugs, and smoking nonstop.

— Matteo, stop that — Nott said, taking a cigarette from him — even I know you're taking this to the limit.

All his friends were worried about his condition, since this was constant and he had started to hallucinate about you. He swore he saw you walking among the people in the corridors of Hogwarts, seeing you sitting in the great hall, but when he got close you disappeared, so he began to fall into a depression, without giving up his bad habits.

"She wouldn't like to see you like that," Draco said, seeing his friend stagger.
— Leave me alone, I have to talk to her, she's waiting for me —

Matteo's voice was hoarse and slurred. The boys knew he was hallucinating again, as he struggled to get up from the couch and head for the common room exit. But to his surprise, and that of the other boys, was seeing you standing there. When he opened the door, Matteo saw you, but thought it was his mind playing tricks on him again.

— Jane? No, you're not real — he said to himself, wanting to convince himself that it was just another hallucination.
— Matt.. I'm here — you said while touching his face.

Upon feeling your touch on his skin, he burst into tears, clinging to you in a hug, feeling your warmth, your essence, knowing that it was not another hallucination.
