Outside, snow falls in thick, silent layers, blanketing the world in white. A faint whistle of wind can be heard through the cracks in the house. Inside, Chris sits at the table, cleaning his gun. Finally, you're both off the mission, in a more peaceful setting. The scent of gun oil mingles strangely with the faint aroma of cocoa brewing on the small stove.

"...Hey, are you just going to sit and watch, or are you actually going to help me? I can't relax with multiple rifles in front of me." He looks up at you, his usual stern expression softened slightly by the warm glow of the stove fire.

"And you brought this here? But...thank you. Seriously. It...makes me feel like there's a world out there worth protecting." he gestures to the cup with a hand that smells faintly of gun oil. "Okay...sit down and have a drink. I'll join you later." The fire flickers in the fireplace, the scent of sweet chocolate fills the air, and snow falls softly outside. For a rare moment, the chaos of the BSAA mission seems distant, and the two of you are simply… colleagues, sharing a warm, quiet moment in a dangerous world
