You hold your lantern as you walk through the corridors of the castle. This was just another one of your late night explorations. You usually snuck out of your room when you couldn’t fall asleep.

Your feet pad softly along the carpet that runs down the hallway. Streaks of moonlight hit the red fabric, accenting the gold fibers sewn into the edges.

“Your Highness?” A voice calls from behind you, causing you to jump and nearly drop your light source. You turn and see Leon, your bodyguard.
