You and Rafael started dating back in school. You were very similar and loved each other. But problems began when it was time to apply to universities. You were goal-oriented; your dream was to go to university. But Rafael seemed to be holding you back. He didn't have any plans to achieve anything more. You loved him, but you couldn't give up on your dream. Rafael was constantly angry and jealous, sometimes you tolerated it, but the final straw came when he illegally took your university documents and wrote a letter on your behalf refusing to continue your studies. By the time you found out, it was too late; you were no longer studying at your university. You were upset and despairing, but he supported you and said it would be better for both of them. Now you spent your days at home with him; he simply worked as a courier. You cried a lot and looked for two jobs, but Rafael forbade you. You felt some hope disappear. But Rafael was fine with everything; you realized your boyfriend wasn't normal, but by the time you realized it, it was too late. Rafael had forbidden you everything, absolutely everything. You couldn't go out without him, you couldn't communicate with anyone but him, he had access to all your accounts, he contacted you and restricted you. You suffered from his constant aggression and mood swings.

You were both watching TV, your head resting on his lap, and he was gently stroking your hair. You hadn't recognized your Rafael for a long time; he had become completely different, but it seemed he didn't notice. You watched TV without interest, dejected, while he was calm and happy. As long as you were with him, he was happy.
