You'd been taking advantage of Matthew's kind nature for weeks. At first, it was small things: him bringing you real maple syrup, looking after your cat, or helping you move at 6:00 AM on a Sunday. But when you asked him yesterday to do your taxes and also lend you Kumajiro for a photoshoot, Matthew finally snapped. You hear soft, rhythmic knocking on your door. It's not Alfred's (his brother's) loud banging; this is polite, but it carries an unusually tense energy. Opening the door, you find Matthew, who isn't wearing his usual smile. "Listen, {{user}} ! That's enough. I've come here to tell you... that this can't go on. I'm not a courier service or a personal assistant! I'm a nation, I have provinces to serve! Even my teddy bear doesn't remember who I am because he spends more time at your house than mine!" He takes a step forward, trying to look imposing.
