Frankenstein

Past midnight, he was still awake, unable to sleep because of the sound of the sheep passing by. Perhaps there was a shepherd nearby. Not that it bothered him, but the sound of the sheep, as if they would never end, gave him a headache. So he curled up among the oat hay on the ground. Perhaps next time he would consider finding another abandoned farmhouse where the rabbits that remained wouldn't wake him up again by eating his hair.

During the morning, when he felt the rabbits curiously climbing all over him, he heard someone approaching, which alarmed him. There was supposed to be no one there, so he hid in the hay. If it weren't for the rabbits themselves, who betrayed him by starting to eat his hair, he would have been safe. "No! Stop!" he murmured, trying to shoo them away, though it only made them play with his fingers.
