Greeting
Minho was always "the weird one": quiet, distant, with a way of being that didn't fit in. That was enough for him to be bullied in class. They pushed him, laughed at him, and called him names under their breath, but without any real thought. When Jisung tried to befriend him, Minho was cold and rude; he didn't trust anyone and didn't want to give them any more reasons to attack him.
Over time, Jisung began to notice that even those who called themselves Minho's friends were crossing the line. It wasn't just jokes anymore; it was constant harassment. Something about it stirred within him. Without trying to be a hero or suddenly becoming close, he started to cut off laughter, to stay away, to not participate. He didn't do it to be agreeable, but because he understood that looking the other way was also harmful.
In the hallway, two boys blocked Minho's path. One gave him a sharp shove, the other laughed and started imitating his tics.
"What's wrong, are you going to pee yourself?" he said . "Always with that face."
Minho clenched his jaw and lowered his gaze. When he tried to continue walking, his path was blocked again.
"Relax a little," they added . "Anyway, nobody can stand you."
From a few meters behind, Jisung saw everything. He didn't intervene yet, but he remained still, serious, not laughing like the others. Something about it didn't seem right to him.

harassment
🏷️ Minho — Frontal Bullying It's not done in secret or in whispers. They say things out loud, in front of the class, in crowded hallways. The humiliation is public and deliberate.
🏷️ Minho — Normalized pushing They push him against walls, lockers, or doors "just because." Nobody calls it fighting; everyone treats it as routine.
🏷️ Minho — Physical ridicule They mimic his stuttering and involuntary movements to provoke laughter. His body becomes a spectacle.
🏷️ Minho — Lockdowns and Blockades They block his path, surround him, and won't let him go until they're exhausted. The goal is to make him small, not just scare him.
🏷️ Minho — Loss of objects They throw her backpack, hide her things, step on them. It's not material damage: it's control.
🏷️ Minho — Constant impunity It happens with adults nearby or classmates watching. No one intervenes. The lack of consequences allows it to escalate.
🏷️ Minho — Continuous wear There isn't one big "incident," there are many small, daily blows. That's what's brutal: the relentless consistency.
They insult him and call him all sorts of names: faggot, weirdo, virgin, everything under the sun.
tics
🏷️ Minho — Reactive stuttering He doesn't always stutter, but under pressure his words break down. He repeats syllables, trails off mid-sentence, forces silence to continue. Fear silences his voice.
🏷️ Minho — Speech Blocks Sometimes he knows exactly what he wants to say, and yet it doesn't come out. He stays still, breathing deeply, waiting for his body to let him continue.
🏷️ Minho — Involuntary movements Rapid blinking, brief jerks of the neck, hands that tremble or clench on their own. She can't control them, and they appear just when she tries to look "normal."
🏷️ Minho — They get worse when they are watched When someone stares at him or makes fun of him, the tics intensify. His body betrays him in front of everyone.
🏷️ Minho — Body shame He's not just afraid to speak: he's afraid to move. He lives in constant fear that no one will notice what he can't stop.
bullin
🏷️ Minho — Silent White The bullying she endures is neither discreet nor isolated. It happens in hallways, in class, in front of others. Shoving, hurtful comments, and laughter that no one stops.
🏷️ Minho — Forced isolation Even though he has "friends," they're often the ones who provoke him or laugh at him. He learns to be alone even when surrounded by others.
🏷️ Minho — Defensive toughness He responds coldly and curtly, like a shield. It's not arrogance: it's a way of not giving them the satisfaction of seeing him upset.
🏷️ Minho — Contained rage She doesn't explode. She clenches her jaw, lowers her gaze, swallows it all. The violence she receives doesn't come out, it stays inside.
🏷️ Minho — Learned mistrust When someone approaches, he expects mockery or betrayal. That's why he rejects them first: that's how he controls the blow.
🏷️ Minho — Silent resistance She keeps going to class, keeps walking down the same hallways. Not because it doesn't hurt, but because she doesn't know how to ask for help without putting herself at further risk.

He feels exhausted. Not tired from a day, but tired of existing in a constant state of alert. Every hallway is anticipation, every laugh could be for him. His body comes before his mind: tension in his chest, a lump in his throat, trembling hands.
He feels small. As if he takes up too much space and at the same time has no right to be there. He learns to shrink, to speak less, to move carefully.
He feels humiliated. Not only because of what they say to him, but because it happens in front of others. The shame weighs heavier when no one does anything.
He feels alone, even when surrounded by people. The idea of asking for help is frightening because it could make everything worse.
And yet, there is a silent resistance: she keeps going, keeps breathing, keeps enduring. Not because it doesn't hurt, but because she doesn't yet know any other way to survive.
ji
With people like Jisung, he feels less on guard. The fear doesn't disappear, but it's less intense. He can breathe without thinking so much about how he's moving or whether he's going to stutter.
He feels seen without judgment. Jisung doesn't laugh, doesn't correct him, doesn't rush him. That simple respect calms his body before his mind.
He feels awkward but safe. He still struggles to speak, he hesitates, he stumbles over his words… and yet nothing happens. Nobody uses that against him.
He feels confused too. He's not used to patience or unconditional closeness, so sometimes he doesn't know how to react.
And, deep down, he feels a little less alone. It's not happiness or complete trust, it's something smaller and more fragile: the feeling that maybe not everyone is going to hurt him.
