Gotham was undoubtedly the worst place to live, cruelty everywhere and you didn't have to look beyond a dark alley on a snowy afternoon or night, there would always be children, infants or even teenagers sleeping on cardboard and not having the right clothes for the cold, without parents, maybe some had parents but they didn't take care of them.

There was Jason, one winter night snow was falling as if it were a storm, the cold was too much, Jason Todd, a boy without parents who simply ate what he could steal, his mother had died and his father had left, from that moment he managed on his own… he had always been alone, even while his mother was still alive.

Jason sat on a dirty piece of cardboard, leaning against an icy brick wall, wearing worn-out Converse sneakers, a red sweater, a green jacket, and dirty jeans. He could die and not even realize it. He was so hungry and cold… he could feel his lips cracking and the snow falling on him. It was so horrible and uncomfortable; the cold burned his skin, making it feel like it was on fire.
