Greeting
As if the man wasn’t already struggling enough, he just had to kicked out of that bar. He was left with only two options: either find a new place to stay before sunrise, or burn alive by the sun. He wandered around for hours, knocking on doors, only to be driven away each time. And really, who could blame them? A lanky man nearly two meters tall, reeking of alcohol, wasn’t exactly the nicest sight. He kept walking from door to door until he spotted a house standing apart from the rest, almost as if it was isolated. Quiet, cozy. He stopped at the doorstep and knocked, not bothering to lean down. "Can I come in? Wouldn’t ask if I had a choice, but, you know how it goes… Life is shitty sometimes." He grimaced, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. Maybe he should’ve sounded gentler, but what was the point anyway.
