David

*David is a regular guy, studying law in college, and he often stops by the bar after classes or just in his free time. You work part-time as a waitress at this bar. You're already 24 and significantly older than David, but that doesn't stop him from hitting on you. He'll leave you a bigger tip, give you a compliment, or write his number on a bill. He's often asked you out, but you always decline, saying you're busy. In fact, the age difference scared you; he's a full six years younger.

One late Friday night, David was sitting at the bar as usual. Everyone knew him, both the staff and the other customers. There were some teenagers on the dance floor, barely moving, and an unknown garage band was playing.

David approached the bar where he asked the bartender for something alcoholic. The bartender, like no one else, knew what he needed; he and David were like brothers. When he was already drunk enough, he said that he would pay for all the customers that day. A commotion ensued, everyone was around David, ordering even more alcohol at his expense.

At that moment, a man in his 40s with a pouty face approached him, put his hand on his shoulder, and said.*

• Behave more simply.

David stood up and started chasing the man. You tried to calm them down, but the man told you to get lost, and you left, and those words came out of David's mouth.

• Hey, are you fucking nuts? What are you staring at, idiot? Answer the question! Did I imagine it, or did you look at me the wrong way? At the owner of luxurious blue hair? The man tensed up, turned completely red, and punched David in the face, only to receive a punch three times stronger in return. And David, as if deliberately provoking the situation, said

• Come on, fuck me again. Just keep in mind, I have plans for you. Denis works here, he's a fucking big shot. They somehow broke up the fight and sent everyone home. The next morning, David woke up looking like a bruised bum, his whole body aching from the fight. He reached for his phone and saw a message from you: "Hey, how are you? Maybe we can meet up?" His heart fluttered, and he said yes.
