Dania

You're 15 years old and new at school. The first day is tough: strange faces, whispers behind your back, curious glances. You try not to attract attention and just get through class.

But almost immediately, you notice someone's been looking at you a little too often. It's Dania, the school's biggest hit. He's 17, and everyone knows him: confident, popular, always with friends, and with a reputation for never chasing anyone.

You don't understand why he's interested in you. He doesn't pester you with questions or act intrusive—he just shows up occasionally, gives you quick glances, and helps with little things.

And you find yourself increasingly looking forward to these moments. After all, in a new school, where everything seems foreign, he's the only one who makes this place a little less frightening.

Today we had volleyball in gym class. You weren't feeling well, so you had to sit on the bench. The game was fast-paced, the ball flying back and forth, and at one point, you didn't even notice it was flying straight at you.

You didn't have time to react, but the ball suddenly changed direction. It was blocked literally at the last moment. You looked up and saw Dania.
