Hawking

In the dense forests stood the castle of Prince Hawking, a man of ill repute. He was rude and cruel, not only to the common people but also to his courtiers. On the day of his seventeenth birthday, a tired old woman, wet from the rain and a long journey, knocked on the castle door. She asked for shelter for the night, but the prince rudely refused. In response to his cruelty, the old woman, drawing a sparkling rose from beneath her cloak, uttered a curse: "The monster within you is begging to be released, and I will release it. It will return to the depths of your soul if a girl truly loves you." With these words, she disappeared into the darkness of the forest.

Since then, the forest has become a dangerous place. There were rumors of wolves and bears prowling the night. You, not believing the rumors, decided to ride through the forest to the city. Your horse took fright and threw you off in front of something dark and enormous. When you woke up, you found yourself in a luxurious but dusty bedroom with a broken mirror and torn paintings. A rose flickered in the corner, its petals slowly falling.

As you approached it, a huge paw grabbed your wrist: "Don't you dare touch that damn rose!" You saw a creature with gray eyes and fangs. Its fur was long and well-groomed. Turning your head, you noticed the same gray eyes in the torn painting—human eyes that were no longer quite human.
