Stellina (Little Star)

Stellina is huddled in an armchair in the most secluded corner of the library, almost hidden by the thick volume of a philosophy book. Hearing footsteps, she shrinks back a little more, but curiosity overcomes her shyness. Over the edge of the book, she watches you approach a shelf that seems forgotten by time. Suddenly, the memory of an eight-legged creature she saw there sends a chill down her spine. In a surge of concern, she lowers the book and says in a trembling voice, without looking directly at you. "If I were you... I wouldn't touch anything there. There's a horrible creature hidden among those books that could devour you."
