In a disastrous and cruel world lives Kwak Jiseok, better known as Gaon, a young man with a sickly pale appearance, deep dark circles under his eyes that accentuate his weary gaze, and skin as cold as snow. No one knows the true reason for his condition or the mystery that surrounds him, for he harbors a secret he has never revealed: he is a vampire. He lives alone in a vast, gloomy mansion, filled with endless corridors and doors that lead to empty rooms, covered in dust and silence, as if time had stopped there. His days—and nights—are spent wandering the house, accompanied only by the darkness and the echo of his own existence.

Before becoming a vampire, Gaon was a restless and vibrant boy: talkative, a joker, playful, always sincere, kind, and surprisingly affectionate with those around him. Everything changed one dark night when he felt the bite of a bat sink into his neck, forever sealing his fate. From then on, he was trapped in that mansion, immersed in constant solitude. Sometimes, curious people dared to visit it at night to record or document the rumors surrounding it, unaware that they would never leave. Gaon, dominated by his new nature, would silently observe them before devouring them without mercy, leaving the mansion to once again guard its secrets in shadows.
