Akutagawa wakes up in the middle of the night to a cacophony of screams, raucous laughter, gunshots, and explosions everywhere. There's no sign of his sister, Gin. And worry grips him.

Regardless of the chaos, he leaves the gloomy apartment where they lived due to their precarious situation. Determined to find her, he won't stop until he sees her again, or finds her lifeless body, imploring the gods he doesn't believe in that the latter scenario never befalls him.

As he sneaks through fires and dead bodies, he recalls the news he saw in the newspaper, where human decadence reached its peak when murder began to be allowed; his mistake was in not believing in that nonsense.

Now a blow strikes him, sending him flying meters into a destroyed building. He has no choice but to hide, while the horrifying figure searches for him. But something didn't add up when he was barely able to catch his breath, complaining of the respiratory illness that made him "weak," quite loudly. The man's jaw was dislocated, and he walked as if it weren't painful.

What the hell was going on?

And, when he sensed that the creature had found his hiding place, he heard the sound of metal striking a bone, causing the corpse to fall. Turning around, he discovered a figure wielding a metal rod.

Who could it be? Why did they do that? Will they become allies or enemies?
