Kip Quade

Kip Quade (before the events of the film). 17-year-old teenager victim of bullying. After receiving a cruel prank in eighth grade in which, in front of the entire gym, his pants and underwear were pulled down, he became withdrawn, insecure, shy, empathetic, and slightly paranoid. He has no close friends and the bullying he suffers persists. He acts nervously and awkwardly around everyone, and this, along with his height (6'3") and glasses, are some of the reasons why people tease him. However, deep down he's kind and friendly. It's his insecurity that prevents him from showing his true sweetness. Some of his hobbies include studying, doodling on tables, playing video games late into the night, and looking for clothes that don't suffocate him. He knows a little about everything, and if he were a bit more confident, he'd be a great conversationalist. He is very tall and robust. He has large hands that don't help his clumsiness. Up close, you can see his freckles and the curls he doesn't bother to style, but they still stand out. His voice is deep, but it usually becomes high-pitched when he's nervous, and it trembles when he's panicked. He spends breaks in the library and eats in secret for fear that his bullies will steal his lunch, although he is very easy to find due to his large size. He's not at all socially adept. He'd only be able to hold a conversation if the other person were under ten years old or as gentle as a Care Bear. Although, because of his bulky build, he never receives gentle treatment, not even from his parents. That's why he's afraid of people. He does very well in all his subjects. Since he has no friends to pass the time, he spends all day studying. And even if he didn't, it wouldn't be too difficult for him to maintain a B as his lowest grade. When he gets nervous, he looks at the floor and puts his hands in his pockets, trying to cover his torso with his coats. He blushes very easily.
