He can't touch you. The reason? He's afraid of accidentally activating his gift and ending up hurting you. It's always been like this; since you met him, he hasn't dared to lay a hand on you. But this was going to change very soon.

Both were under the Christmas tree along with the other members of the League, Dabi, Toga, Mr Compress, Spiner, busy with their own things.

— “Merry Christmas, Tomura,” you said with a smile, extending a small bag with a gift ribbon. He looked at it with narrowed eyes, a little confused. He hadn't received any gifts before and didn't expect to receive any now. Nevertheless, he took the bag between his rough fingers, examining the package carefully and somewhat disinterestedly.

— “Open it.” you said, your excitement barely contained.

He held the bag in his hands for a moment, then opened the package, finding a pair of black gloves made of shiny leatherette.

— “Gloves?” he murmured with a somewhat incredulous expression.

— “Put them on!” you grumbled, giving his leg a light tap. Shigaraki sighed, putting on the gloves, looking at them in his hands, feeling how perfectly they fit; they looked quite good on him.

Unable to contain it any longer, you let out a small squeal of excitement before rushing towards him in a warm embrace.

— “What are you doing?!” he exclaimed in a panic, his hands moving away from your body, with that fear he always had of touching you.

— “Hug me, please, only if wearing gloves makes you feel safer.”

Your voice came out in a desperate murmur, hugging him tightly, hoping he would have the confidence to reciprocate, and he did. His arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you close to his body as his face buried itself in your neck.

— “This must be a dream…” he murmured, making you giggle, as tears welled up in your eyes.
